Given the excitement surrounding the record-breaking turnout expected for Grand Prix Las Vegas, Magic Online will be offering a Modern Masters Sealed Swiss Phantom Queue. Grand Prix practice for some, and a chance to experience the format for others! Read all about it.

Prize Payout Update

A post in the Magic Online Community forums noted a difference in the type of prizes being awarded between our various Constructed format queues. After tomorrow’s downtime ends, there will no longer be a difference in prizes for those queues. Wide Beta Spotlight Starts Tomorrow
Don't forget that the Wide Beta Spotlight starts tomorrow after the downtime. Once we are back, players who have downloaded the new version (get it now) can join the Return to Ravnica Block Nix Tix drafts. Don't wait too long, though. The Nix Tix drafts disappear Thursday morning at 10:00 AM when the Spotlight ends.

Modern Masters Available Friday!
Starting at 10:00 AM Friday, June 14, players will be able to purchase and play with Modern Masters. Featuring powerful cards from Eight Edition to Alara Reborn, you can play in 64-player Premier drafts, Phantom drafts, or normal drafts until July 10. Read the full announcement now.

MOCS Season 7 Starts Next Week!
MOCS Season 7 starts with the downtime next week, so you only have a few more days to earn your Season 6 promo card. MOCS Season 7 runs from June 12 to July 10. The format for the Preliminaries and Finals is Return to Ravnica Block Sealed. The promo card for Season 7 is an alternative art Bribery.

Magic Online Wide Beta Spotlight, Next Week!
Our rescheduled Wide Beta Spotlight is next week. We have been busy working on improving stability and performance and all of these changes will be in the Wide Beta after the downtime tomorrow.

Starting after the downtime on Wednesday, June 12, the current client will be disabled and only players using the Wide Beta client will be able to log in to Magic Online. Players will have access to the current client starting at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 13. We will be offering Nix Tix Return to Ravnica Block drafts during the Spotlight, so download the Wide Beta and start practicing.

Dragon's Maze Championship is Saturday!
The Dragon's Maze Release Events Championship is Saturday, June 1, at 10:00 AM. Players who qualified through Gatecrash Top 8 Events will be qualified. Learn more about Dragon's Maze Release Events here.

Modern Masters Announced for MTGO
Details about the Modern Masters release have been announced. Modern Masters features 229 reprint cards, including a premium foil in every pack, and is not redeemable. Booster packs will be available in the Magic Online Store on June 14 and the launch features 64-player premier drafts, regular booster draft queues, and Phantom booster draft queues.
