   One of the main reasons why I write fantasy books is because I'm a creator of worlds and I sort of live within my mind.

  I have a world of my own which is within the War of Twilight, it is featured with Eloquent Books and I intend to write more books.

Both books are called 'The Madness of Avlon Klynn' and it's follow up 'For it's a Hard Line'.  In the main stream I'm hoping that I can get another fantasy series going through one of the other publishing houses, since it is all ready written.

The book follows Arawn Segomo, a xendauni sentinel who has escaped the Black Forest, as he travels across several Pnumadesi countries in search of the Gems of Power.  Along the way, he'll meet powerful allies and dangerous enemies; all while trying to free his people from the demiplane to which they were banished by the elementals 500 years ago.

If you've been reading this blog, you may now be wondering what happened.

I'd prepared a story and some monsters, and when the sessions actually started it looks like I threw most of what I had prepared overboard.

This is not entirely true. Although I was planning to have the wolf ambush in the first session, I decided that due to the lack of equipment and in the interest of introducing the Aurum into the campaign I needed the group to do some other stuff first. Enter the evil tiefling :).

Then I changed the ambush a little bit in that there would be reinforcements and the wolves would not try to flee, just to make the encounter a little tougher (it turned out to be a rather long thirteen round encounter now) and perhaps more interesting. The rest of the story with the undead... I don't

So two weeks since the formation of the Zendikar - D&D Campaign Setting group and 20 members today! I figured I could make a sort of status report with notes and just about anything useful for members and visiting people alike.

Basic intro: Zendikar is a "block" (or cycle) of Magic The Gathering trading cards, but it's also the name of the setting (an entire plane actually, but it's more like a planet/world) in which the lands, creatures, characters and spells presented in the cards all reside. It's a very fantastic world, clearly inspired by the latest fantasy trends I would say, and borrowing from D&D more than a Magic setting ever did in the past.
