A deal with The Deadman
As Graves standsin the lobby of what is easily the largest building in Ilgar waiting for a nameless guard to fetch his boss he lets his mind wonder. Victor - Another Time, Another Place
Victor, Natasha, Ingrid, Anna, Daughter, and several more women listen to Mei-Hu's report. They all are back at the whorehouse and planning their next move. It is not looking good. They may have plenty of supplies and firepower and more than enough manpower (so to speak), but the entire situation just was not looking feasible. Technical Notes: Teleportation
As per your expressed interest on the subject Kara I have put together a brief summary of how tele-portation is achieved.
Space-time is a finite volume. Outside of which there is no method or physics that appropriately describes it. To step outside space-time is to have no time or location, nor volume or matter. In effect one is equally everywhere and nowhere.
To tele-port the information of an object is held in memory. The object then is pushed from space-time. Once outside our observed universe an object can be returned anywhere since any place is equally far away. Remember outside the universe (space-time) the concept of distance does not exist. Once the object choses a return location the object is in effect 'remembered'

Victor - Street Battle
"You ready to have some fun?" Victor asks with a smile.
Natasha returns the smile. "Ready as I'll ever be."
"Good, then lets go."
Both of them survey the situation one last time before they make a move. Sitting in front of them are five police cars in a semi-circle around the entrance to the warehouse. Scattered around the cop cars are about twenty cops, all with their guns drawn and pointing at them. Half a block in either direction there are roadblocks with even more cops at both roadblocks. The men at the roadblocks are more heavily armed, wearing full SWAT gear and heavy machine guns. At one roadblock is an armored truck. All of them have their fingers on the trigger and are ready to fire.

I have finished my work on the mechanica. There are seven sub-types. They self assemble to create constructs. Much like the antique lego sets used different types of legos to make what ever you could imagine. There is a mechanica that holds the AI that interacts with the other types to create a sort of consciousness that allows them to adapt. I have found that this simple approach becomes emesnly powerful when billions of mechanice begin working in unison. Eeach sub-type is tuned to a specific Ansible string group. On a fundimental level this allows them to become part of a living force. Since Ansible string connections grow in stregth over time I am not sure how long it will take for the mechanica to be able partake and perhaps even replace native |
