Hello everyone,

In this series of Blogs I'll be telling you about a Home-brew setting we've created and in which we're currently actively playing.

You might think, ''hey that sounds familiar''  well yes it does.
Some of the first pictures I've uploaded are from Bilinger Kingdom and on top of that I've written another blog titled: ''Current state of events'' which allso reveals some info about the Bilinger Kingdom.

Difference is though that this series will be about the setting itself and not the players.

This first installment I will tell you about:

Cities, towns, villages and community descriptions

To quickly go there Skip the bellow summarising.

What may you expect to find in this series?

- Cities, towns, villages and community descriptions
Whats going on in them, how do they look like, how

A little story set in the world of Warcraft. I wrote this as a prologue for a few adventures about a gnomish warrior whom I have rather a soft spot for :) It's written in a light hearted style and some parts are included just for fun. All details  are accurate for Vanilla Wow as this was when it was set. A typical gnome ( is there such a thing? ) In a typical guild, a tale more told in the detail than the narrative. Mostly told just for fun and comedic value when possible, hopefully those who play wow especially will enjoy this little spell of nostalgia.

                   A Gnomes Tale

In the quiet of a rather unusual vault in the great city of Iron forge, a small gnomish figure lies still as always. An unconventional vault this by dwarven

Sedona

Art work by C. Gerber

Part 1 – Earth Date November of ’49

Welcome to Sedona, a relatively unknown Class II Planet and home of the Rouge-Sky Space Pirates.  The Captain of the RSSP, a Crusite named Sanmear, is currently tracking a group of three survivors who have been marooned on Sedona’s rocky surface.  The leader of these survivors, an Earthling, is the All-American superstar Johnny “Cool Cage” Cagetti, and his companions include a Pikardian, Doctor Tiberius, and a Ming known only as Trinity.  Sedona, a rocky planet located in a gravity-well between two yellow stars, is reputably hard to find or leave without the Otacon Compass.  This is part of the reason why the RSSP is in pursuit, the other reason would be the stolen Otacon Sanmear wishes to recover from Cool Cage.

On some forum or other I commented that I like the disease system to construct curses.  The mechanic is really easy.  Just make the curse require an arcana/religion/nature roll in addition to the heal roll.  What this allows you to do is to attach curses to items, locales, or kinds of actions.  The mechanical effect of this is easy and obvious.  When the characters do things like sleep in a room full of corpses, curse them.

As far as the greater issue of running a campaign are concerned, suddenly superstition and peasant wisdom become all the more powerful.  "Don't go up into MacCreggie castle, it's cursed!"  literally means that the place is cursed.  "Don't rob the tomb or else you will feel the wrath of king Dremidore," literally means that there is wrath to be felt.  Basically,

The Time of Kings is over.

The Nameless One has been beheaded...but the victory comes with a terrible price.

Val EhrenLast Son of Nerath, is dead...and with him, all hope of restoring Bael Nerath has vanished...along with any hope for the survivors of Man.

Even in the absence of the Nameless One's presence, his undead legions -- the Fell -- still roam the countryside, their thirst for flesh unyielding. And they now heed the call of another dark power -- the once benevolent nature spirit known as the Horned God, himself corrupted by The Nameless One's infernal whispers.

The idea behind this setting is that it is in the very first stages of growing so unlike most setting where there are these old ruins, everything is still growing, so you are just starting to see strong leaders start to build the first nations, for the most part people are still very primitive, so very basic metal working. The world itself is largely covered in water, with the game taking place on an archipelago, has for magic, it has only begun to be discovered, with shamanist magic being far more common, they the rare loner working to understand the arcana, as for divine powers I think this is a world where the gods lost, and the Primordials still rule, as such the elements are very strong, as for Races, I was thinking Goliath, Lyon, Wilden, as the major races and Kobolds, Gnomes, Humans,

So, I have decided that I'm going to attempt to dedicate a portion of my week days to writing a "blog novel." I'm going to attempt to fit my story into about 350 printed pages of material. I will be compiling this blog once it's complete into a full manuscript.

Obviously, commentary is appreciated. Due to the method that I'm using to publish this, I can't promise that each post will be, in and of itself, exciting and momentus. Also, it will not be run through an editor prior to posting so if any grammatical errors are found, I will attempt to correct them. One of the benefits of this medium.

I will be posting this blog  in, roughly, 500 word increments. This amounts to about 2 standard pages of written content. So, if I'm able to keep up with it, I should have a completed novel in approximately
