Been toying around with the idea of starting a campaign here on the VT. But due to time and schedule constraints I've had to hold back as it was difficult to commit to it during the summer period. As September is looming not far away it's finally the moment for it. Starting hours of the campaign are still debatable if there are enough requests for a different time. The one set there now is just the one best suited for me but I can be a little bit flexible .
Name: Brimstone and Darkness Date/time: Wednesdays starting at 21.00GMT/16.00ESTDuration: About 3 hours each week. Players: 5 players and microphone preferred. Characters: 1st level PCs. Gear: Mundane items only. Backgrounds allowed, themes allowed. Pretty much anything will go, just no major contradictions please. Current Group: Table Full
- GuruMaux - either tiefling warlock, dragonborn warlord, gnome arcanist
- Torodiamo - Human Barbarian
- akaddk - Kraegan Hammerfist - Gold Dwarf, Fighter (Knight)
- Eshla - necromancer or nethermancer mage
- JGLump - uncertain
About the campaign: A story of ancient evils, corruption, cruel overlords and only a glimmer of hope. Razorkeep, known well for it's smiths whose blades are well sought after, has recently started having a problem. It's loved Lord Narvos has started acting strangely. New ridiculous laws were announced and people are being dragged from their homes while travelers disappear on the roads near the town. The town guard seems to be responsible for at least what is going in the town. The gallows haven't been used since the disappearances have happened but the people taken haven't been seen since. What is behind these strange matters? What has happened to the prisoners? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The story starts with out heroes locked in the castle dungeons by the ruler of Razorkeep. The heroes do not know why they have been put in there but the guards who took them knew exactly where to find each of them. They have seen others being brought into the prison and some of them taken out somewhere but they don't know where to. Then their cell door opens and a huge half-orc guard enters with a sack over his shoulder. Everyone expects one of them to be taken away now but to their surprise the guard takes out a key and with one finger on his lips signaling silence he opens the locks of the adventurers. He then opens the bag to reveal the equipment of the heroes and starts to explain in a guttural whisper how he thinks what is going on is wrong in his opinion and to meet hit at a remote location at the city wall. But first the heroes must make their way out of the dungeons.

Hello Sarved, first of all thank you for starting a campaign in a conveniant time zone. I really really want to apply for a slot! Two things: This is my very first shot at a game at a VT AND english is not my first language. The good news: I am quite familiar with D&D 4E played the usual way and I recently checked mic etc. with a very helpful DM named plaguescarred and he already taught me some features. So, am I in? I'd submit a first level character asap.
