If my opponent casts a Sudden Disappearance on their main phase, all of my permanents are returned to my battlefield at their end step at the end of their turn, correct?

Correct.

Tax evasion is nothing but legitimate self-defense against the theft that is tax collection.

Except there's no such thing as «my» Battlefield; the Battlefield is unique, shared by all players.

Although players keep their stuff near themselves, Permanents on THE Battlefield all are in the same Zone.
