Planeswalker count as creature or spell?

Let's say I want to counter spell a planeswalker with either negate or remove soul which one would be usable against a planeswalker?
Negate, Planeswalkers aren't creatures.

note Dryad Arbor is both a creature and land but since it is part land it does not use the stack.

Not only is there a land on the stack, the entire stack is made of lands.
And the land stack is in the wrong order.

This is one of the reasons I believe planeswalkers shouldn't have been printed, tbh; people are still wondering what they do.

Does the word planeswalker include creature? If not, the answer to your question is, while on the stack, a spell. Then again, creatures on the stack are spells too.

I support getting rid of auras, nothing wrong with Enchant , they just put an extra line in the text box and some imaginary elegance somewhere in the comprehensive rules that nobody cares about.

We are not computers reading code... I think every human being* can agree that having a space in "enchant creature" doesn't automatically make it two different card types.

yes, but not all of them can get that they're enchantments as well.

All cards in Magic have a type line in the form [supertypes] card types [- subtypes]. It's just plain messy to have Auras be the sole exception, in that they do list card type it doesn't have and don't list a card type they do have. And, given that "local enchantments" were a subset of enchantments, it makes sense for them to have an actual subtype, Aura.

Also, "enchant creature" isn't a description of the card is; it's a description of what the card does. It's very awkward to use an action like "enchant [something]" as a noun, and it leads to the absurd Legendary Enchant Land.

Also, there were already quite a few enchantments that had extra restrictions on what they could enchant. Enchant creature with converted mana cost 2 or less wouldn't be able to fit on the type line, so they had to put it in the text box. It's better to have all the enchant restrictions consistently be in the same place.
