Whats the best premade theme deck for MP?

Ok me and a few friends have resurrected our old Magic playing ways. We have 8 guys 4 whom have been playing off and on since the mid 90s and 4 guys who have never played before.

We decided to start a league in which we play a big 8 player game where you can only attack left keeping track of finishes for league standings.

The new players with no cards didn't want the vets to use all thier old cards to create decks that it would be hard to compete with so we have decided to all start with a official wizards prefabbed theme deck and add one booster each time we play.

My question is, in your opinion which theme deck stands up best for a game of this size and magnitude?

I'm linking this thread to my league as I am not asking the question for myself. I choose Elvish Predation and I won our first game a couple of days ago. A few people in the league think they may have made a bad choice. Any opinions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
As an update here are the decks that I can remember that our players have chosen.

Superabundance, Life Drain, and Battle Blitz from Eventide.

Shamanism from Morningtide

Presence of Mind and Natures Fury from M10

Elvish Predation from Lorwyn.

The 8th player missed the first game and has yet to choose.
well if its vint cards then Ravnica Dredge Theme is the greatest ready to play theme deck ever made. solid from the second u buy it. But for more recent go up for M10 white/splash red theme deck. Possibly adding in a planar cleansing later stuff like that. if not Grixis deck from i believe its Conflux is amazing. Blood tyran isnt a great card but in big games blood tyrant is an amazing card. also the ability to get 20 zombies out helps. especially with new cards like rise from the grave
I've got about 70 theme decks, and my friends and I play them quite a bit. From what I can remember offhand, the PLC madness deck would be good for a game like that, as well as the TSP fungus deck and definitely Elves from Lorwyn. What they all have in common is resource generation or recursion.

I'll look over the rest when I get home, and let you know if I can think of any others.
Hi!

It seems that this would be best received in Multiplayer, so I'll just get it moved there.

Have a brilliant day.

Out of what I can think of, these are the ones I've found most useful:

Army of Entropy (can potentially lock/nuke the field)

Aura Mastery

Battle Blitz (4 friends of mine and I each bought a different Eventide theme deck the day it came out and played a few games of multiplayer. This one beat the rest more often than not)

Elivish Predation

Death March (I won a game where I had this and 4 of my friends were using their typical decks)

Ixiodor's Legacy (I beat a very well-made sliver deck and a very well-made blue/white control deck with a well timed Serendib Sorcerer / Merfolk Thaumaturgist. Morph is a great way to stall/bluff/surprise your opponents)

Merrow Riverways (This works a lot better than you'd think. You can stall, and use Summon the School to make an army of tokens, then champion/feed those to Wanderwine Prophets. I beat a friend of mine who was using a heavy discard black deck, but lost to my other friend who was playing green elf-tokens).

Unraveling Mind (Very solid for a theme deck, great for surprises sneak-tactics)

Before they banned the format out of existence, I was a proud supporter of Modern.

Although this one typically won't be a good choice, I once won a multiplayer game of 5 people with Trounce-O-Matic (one was playing a black/white control deck, one was playing a green/Red/Black Jund/Grixis deck, one was playing a solid Elf deck, one was playing my white Training deck). I think the win was mostly due to holding back until I had a sizable army, letting everybody kill themselves off, make a few smart creature-trades, then move in for the kill.

Pestilence is hard to argue with.

I have to second The Plague: I've actually played it in multiplayer, and it's just as brutal as you'd think, maybe more so.
