Some Ranged weapons. and a Barb power

in reply to a thread from someone who saif there was not enogh ranged weapons, and ranged abilities/options for the classes.

I did a few things, i contributed by creating 2 ranged weapons. and 2 barbarian powers than incorprate a rnaged attack into them!

1. the weapons

the next step could possibly be the 1 shot powder rifles/pistols.
or even a step further to the middle age magazine rifle.

Military Ranged (the Pistol)(1-Handed)

Weapon/Prof./Dmg/range/Price/Weight/group/Properties

Gunpowder Pistol/+2/ 1D10/(15/30)/ 35gp/Gun/Load Minor, Versatile
(name it any you like. i couldt think of anythnig else)

Superior Ranged (the rifle) (two-Handed)

Gunpowder/+2/1D12/(25/50)/45gp/Gun/Load Minor, High Crit
Rifle

And, feasable enough, new adventurers items

Ammo-Pouch (holds 25 Bullets) (what bullets come in-attaches to belt)

Gunpowder Cask (Enough for 30 Shots) (1g)

and the Bullets--- (cant think of any others atm. so basic round

2. the powers

Follow-Up Assault barbarian attack 7
With the enemy in your sights, you throw one of your axes, and follow it closely behind in a charge where you land a brutal strike whilt the enemy recovers from your first attack
Encounter [] Primal,Weapon
Standard Action melee Weapon
requirements: you must be wielding a melee weapon with the Heavy Thrown property
Target: One enemy directly in front of you, and at least 3 squares away
Special: before charging, you may make a basic ranged attack against the enemy using Strength vs AC and doing 1 {w} Damage
secondary special: during the charge you may equip a two-handed melee weapon as a free action
Attack: Strength + 2 vs AC
Hit: 2 {w} + Strength Modifier damage, and the target is knocked prone.

and its big brother at level 17!

letting loose two axes then charging your foe is a sure fire way to ensure victory
Encounter [] Primal,Weapon
Standard Action melee Weapon
requirements: you must be wielding 2 melee weapons with the Heavy Thrown Property
Target: One enemy directly in front of you, and at least 3 squares away
Special: before charging, you may make two basic ranged attacks against the enemy using Strength vs AC and doing 1 {w} Damage per attack, if both attacks hit,the enemy takes damage equal to your strength modifier. If both attacks miss, you gain a power bonus to the damage roll to the melee attack equal to your strength modifier
Attack: Strength +3 vs AC
special: you may charge at the enemy prior to attack
secondary special: during the charge you may equip a two-Handed melee weapon as a free action
Hit: 2 {w} + Strength Modifier damage, and the target will take penalty to their AC equal to 1+ your strength modifier.
miss: Half damage, the target is knocked prone
