JOC: What do you want from your adventure?

What exactly do you look for out of your adventures anyway?

I know when I look at my favorite Modules (Pharoh and the Lost City), I love twisty mazes, people that the party doesn't have to kill right away, and may even have to take sides in, bugs, and some mind puzzles. Sometimes, even a time limit to put the pressure on the players.

What kinds of things do you like in your adventures?

I mostly like interesting plotlines more than individual elements. If the plotline seems good, I look for information about encounters provided and for what levels, to see if I can fit that in my campaign and/or how much I would have to change from the way it is written.

I love when there are things with adaptation tips for different settings and levels of play.
