Other versions may play Withered Wretch instead of Rakdos Guildmage or in the board, or they could have Ghitu Encampment instead of Keldon Megaliths, or Bottled Cloister in the sideboard.
Repeal and Demonfire are frequent inclusions instead of Sunforger and Aeon Chronicler. Some builds also play Siege-Gang Commander or Electrolyze.

Replace the Magus of the Scroll with Martyr of Ashes, and work a couple Pithing Needle or Manabarbs in the board instead of the Sulfur Elementals, and you have the archetypical version. Other options include adding a couple lands and Giant Solifuge.
Other possible inclusions are Last Gasp, Take Possession, Pact of Negation, and Mortify, or a transformal Pickles package (Willbender, Vesuvan Shapeshifter, Brine Elemental) in the sideboard.

Some decks run Greenseeker as an extra discard outlet; or in the sideboard Leyline of the Void for the mirror or an Akroma, Angel of Wrath to reanimate.

There is also a slower but more resilent list out there, with more green cards and less blue cards, and a different kill mechanism:[deck=Vengeful Dredge

Other ideas are adding Troll Ascetic, or Glittering Wish for Stormbind, Mystic Enforcer, etcetera. For the sideboard, Ronom Unicorn, Martyr of Ashes, Condemn, and Pithing Needle could be considered.
Other cards that sometimes see play in this kind of deck are maindeck Epochrasite and Plagued Rusalka, or sideboard Deathmark, Seal of Primordium, Riftsweeper, and Tombstalker.

This archetype can take many shapes; instead of Tarmogoyf and Careful Consideration, one may see Dimir Hourse Guard or Clutch of the Undercity to tutor, or Aeon Chronicler to draw, or cards like Sudden Death; many possibilities in these colors.
Other cards to consider for the board are Ornithopter and Martyr of Ashes.

This deck was taken from my article The Island of Lost Toys. A similar deck has made Top 8 in an online Premier Event and it was splashing white for Loxodon Hierarch.
This is an old decklist for lack of a post-Tenth Edition one, but it still illustrates the main strategy of counters plus Wrath of God. Rewind and CoP: Red are not legal anymore, though.
