Week 8 Field Reports

A great session this week, eventhough we still havent completed Harpshield Castle this was immense fun to run. I kept switching from the main group to the ranger during the early part so no-one was left doing nothing and I think it worked well. When the party decided to split up in the dungeon I had to hide my smile - a DM's dream come true, and calling time at the cliffhanger - ha! Their faces were a treat.

"Well that encounter was easy....er, guys, why is the DM grinning?" (party members last words)

It's not a party till the screaming starts!

Our first session at Firehammer Hold ended with a severely diminished Duergar population.

2 new players this week, and one at his 3rd session.  Depending on how focused the group is we could finish next week with Firehammer.

They gave the Bloke back to the Duke already so I'm tempted to cut that whole section out.  Their main focus is freeing the slaves anyway.

The Duergar are proving less a threat than the 'won't go down' Orcs and Zombies from the last 3 sessions.

We were down a DM, but down enough players that two tables was enough at Goodgames Ballarat for this session. My group completed Phylund Lodge in what I considered an underwhelming session.

Cheers!
