Classical Conundrum: Net and Trident

Alright, trying to work on a Net/Trident build. I've got a few things running through my head and would appreciate the help working them out.  Essentially, there are a ton of versatile melee-or-ranged weapon powers (or close bursts) in the Ranger arsenal.

  1. Build requires Net Training (multiclass feat)

  2. Build should probably have Serpent Strike Style (which requires high Dex / Str and Two Weapon Fighting)

  3. Build should have Binding Style (which requires martial class and Two Weapon Fighting)

  4. Binding style wants Ranger or Fighter at-wills (Twin Strike, Dual Strike)

  5. Paragon Path: Avalanche Hurler fits the theme perfectly

Starting with that as a base, here are some options:

  • Deft Hurler Style, paired with Cleave would require additional Fighter at-will

  • Two-Weapon chain (opening, etc.)

  • Class feats (ranger quarry feats

  • Ranger base, Fighter base or Hybrid (Fighter/Ranger)

Thoughts and feedback appreciated.
