What do YOU think MY character looks like?

I would like to formally request a Necromancer.

Necromancer:
Any Race
Any Gender
Uses a Staff
Preferably has a few 'lackeys'

Probably not exactly what you were looking for but I love the dire adoration the "lackeys" want to give the subject but (s)he barely humors them while focusing attention on something more serious.

OK, my request.

Human infernal pact warlock, darkness flavored powers, blue haired, had to eke out a living in the forest as a bandit for a few years and has the marks to show for it.
"Okay, now I wish to make a request. A male half-elf (could be a human, not really that important, but definitely more human looking than elfish), with a wolf-pelt cloak (this is really the important thing, it has a wolf-head hood and usually covers some part of his face) and three pairs of longswords (I doubt anyone will find this, so either have a pair of longswords in hand, two across his back or two on his waist)."

"If anyone wants to know exactly how he keeps the 6 swords, he has 4 of them sheathed diagonally along his back (like Leonardo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, only with two extra swords sheathed opposite and latched into the sheathe so as not to fall out); and two swords sheathed at his sides on his waist."

"Just trying not to get drowned in the other replies, no one really made mention so I dunno if anyone took notice."
"Don't ask me about the way I type, at best, I'll ignore you (or have no intention of actually reading the thread I posted in again). If I respond, it will probably be sarcastic. I could explain it here, but really, why should I? I am asked often, and usually in a rude and condescending manner, and so, giving the answer here would only serve to satisfy the curiosity of a bunch of stupid people I don't care to grant that benefit. Also, if it annoys you, just remember that somewhere out there, my spirits were lifted, because I really like annoying people that are close-minded enough to be annoyed by something as minor as that; not to mention, there are a good number of people on the internet who can't even bother to learn to write American English (or any other form of English, I can't make criticisms about languages in which I am not proficient) properly (people for whom it is their first language), and that is far more irritating, yet commonly accepted."
The first one (with the spear) is most definitely Oblivion. The other two, not so much.

Those others are a character I play in D&D Online. He is right, its rare to find pictures of Black Fantasy Heroes so better to add than subtract, right?

I have the photoshop skills of a 5 year old child, but this might have the right feel after a dye job on the hair and maybe a change of landscape:

Something like this perhaps?

How about a human swordmage....well, former human. Present during the annihilation of Cyre, he has slowly been mutating. His stubble has taken an earthy texture (like sandpaper) and his hands/feet have grown larger than they were before. He wields a longsword and wears hide armor. His eyes and hair have also taken earth tones. 6'4" incredibly tough and intelligent and pretty strong and agile.

Essentially, he's an earth genasi, I just like the mutated storyline better.

Also, a female eladrin wizard who uses an orb. Blonde hair blue eyes, blue and purple garb? More on the young side.

Warforged paladin with a maul and ancient runes covering his body?

Shifter shaman who weilds a maul as well? (Razorclaw)

Tielfling warlock who uses the star pact and is driven a bit mad by flashes into the future?

A puppy? the eladrin has a puppy. Also, I like puppies.

I don't have any shots of him carrying a maul, but I thought of this character from my stable in D&D Online as well when I read this one:

Everything except the shifter

I can make him look more like a warforged by editing the eyes and skin

I can remove the text easily if you like.

I can round off the ear too if you want.

I tend to give my characters all kinds of weird clothing, so unless I had some commissioned I probably wouldn't find any that matched. However, I want to see how this thread works, so without further ado:

Thieran ac Telecontar: Human nobleman/historian/swordsman/mage/holy knight. Shoulder-length black hair, red headband with two griffon feathers stuck through it. Black longcoat, leather armor, garish red silk trousers. And a bandolier across the leather shirt.

Raxila Kaarone: Female Orc warrior, with hide and chainmail armor. Nize sword at her hip, and a purple shield and a halberd on her back. Wears a dark blue fedora. :D

Khania Jewelmane: Minotaur pirate with a magical rapier at her side, red and gold boots and black gloves. Red furred, with ebony horns.

I know these are farfetched, so I will be most impressed if any art shows up. Enough to give a pet dragon to anyone who can.
I don't mean to pester, but I'm still in the market for a male drow paladin of Amaunator.

Not bad. Thank you!
Not bad. Thank you!

I was going to make his armor gold like rays of sunshine, but I just wasn't in the mood to do that much work.
I figured. Doesn't really matter. I think the black and gold contrast is an interesting one. Kind of like Ebony Armor in Morrowind and Oblivion. And I figured constantly requesting this was getting annoying anyway, so I didn't want to criticize.
"First, I'd like to say, that RavingDork's work is awesome. I say that first, so that what I say next does not sound like (or at least, is more clearly not) a detraction."

"That drow looks so awkward, like he's got a Trouble dice popper on his chest... I dunno why, maybe because I haven't slept yet and it's almost 6AM. Maybe I'm crazy... Okay, not maybe, but I don't think I'm that kind of crazy... Nonetheless... The more I think about it, the funnier that drow looks..."

"Okay, I'm sorry... Uhhh... I'll go back to waiting semi-patiently for the inkling of a wolf-pelt man."
"Don't ask me about the way I type, at best, I'll ignore you (or have no intention of actually reading the thread I posted in again). If I respond, it will probably be sarcastic. Lol. I was thinking something similar (CareBears STARE!)
Honestly so was I, but I didn't want to make any trouble. You're a busy man, and I can't bug you with my niggling little requests all the time.
I'm new to D&D... well, at least to the new version, I used to play back when I was a lot younger (1998, maybe). Anyways, I was making a Dragonborn ranger, but I can't seem to find many good pictures for the race and I feel like I've searched everywhere.

So... a Dragonborn ranger who wields two swords and wears leather/hide armor would be really nice.

What's this screenshot from?
I'm looking for a male Eladrin tactical warlord wielding a spear. Ideally it'll have a suitably impressive two handed greatspear and light armor. Thanks!
My Tiefling Swordmage? Anyone?

Hopefully, this will fit your bill.

Ok how about Male Human Barbarian?
Preferably two handed sword and little bit of armor.

Im looking for a really battle harden human barbarian. Maybe with a little armor and any two handed weapon (spear, axe, hammer, or sword)

Extreme close up of a badass. :D

IMAGE(http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh275/Ravingdork/HumanBarbarianDude.jpg)

That is pretty badass. Please don't let him hurt me!

:D
Here be a interesting one to see if doable.

A female Caucasian Barbarian, with black stringy hair (been through a swamp), who is garbed in somewhat raggedy clothing stained with the muck of the swamp. Her rage/Primal abilities are centred around being possessed by Voodoo Loa, so many Voodoo Trinkets are seen on her. She wields a spear.
Hopefully, this will fit your bill.

IMAGE(http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh275/Ravingdork/DragonbornRanger.jpg)

That is very fitting for my "bill" thank you tons.

PS: How are you so good with photoshop?
My Tiefling Swordmage? Anyone?

Sorry for the link, but I couldn't paste it directly for some reason.
WoTC has gotten rid of the forums I came to know and love, if you think that the old Gleemax forums should be restored, add this to your signature.
I just have to ask for him, could anyone do my Dragonborn paladin of Erathis, he is huge (physically, not the actual classification for D&D,) and has red scales, a battleaxe would be nice, but I'm not that picky.

It's because you are posting the wrong URL. Picture URLs should ALWAYS end in ".jpg", ".bmp", or something similar. I give instructions on how to do it properly in an earlier post (look for a picture of Sweeney Todd).

Man, that web site you linked to would be totally freaking awesome--if the pictures were bigger. I love the way they break down the picture classifications so I can find Minotaur, Drow, Genasi (elementals), and other races in a heartbeat. I wish they would name the artists with the pictures so I could look up their personal web sites. If they did even that, this web site would be a freaking gold mine.

Look what I found!

The full DM Screen Art!

EDIT: You will have to settle for the link since the artist has added so many protections I can't get at the original link. It's also too wide for me to simply "PRT SCR" it to photobucket.

Also, I could have sworn somebody asked for a female orc at some point, but I can't seem to find the quote. Anyways, here it is.

IMAGE(http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh275/Ravingdork/NothrogLords.jpg)

That's odd. They were supposed to be much bigger. I suppose photobucket reduced their size.
Anyways, I can cut out individuals and give higher rez versions if anyone wants.

That is very fitting for my "bill" thank you tons.

PS: How are you so good with photoshop?

Years of practice. It helps that my new art software comes with tutorials and step by step instructions on how to use all of it's tools. :D Quite frankly, considering the tools at my disposal, most of my work as of late has been really sloppy. I guess the sheer number of complex, high volume requests makes me lazy and less concerned about quality and more about getting it out.
Ravingdork, I'd like to request a use of your excellent photoshopping skills. Would you be so kind as to take the Greenflame sword from this picture-

- and replace in with the orb in that picture?

So do you want a Tiefling with a green glowing sword or a mounted mage with an orb?

Tiefling with a glowing sword, please.

Crap. I made it half way through the wrong one. Oh well. May finish it and post it anyways.
Who knows? Someone may need a horseback Wizard at some point.

Well, here they are...

IMAGE(http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh275/Ravingdork/TieflingwithFlamingSword.jpg)

This would have looked a million times better if I had a higher resolution version of that tiefling. As it was, I was working off of a crappy thumbnail.

IMAGE(http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh275/Ravingdork/BattleWizard.jpg)

Hopefully someone will find a use for this one.

I've posted this one already, I believe.
I've posted this one already, I believe.

If you are referring to the Horse-Riding Wizard above, it's been edited. He used to have a sword wreathed in green flames as well as a completely different hand. He now has a wizard's orb.
Oh, I didn't notice that! Cool!

Jason Engle's work rocks!
