    Dangerous Mines

    Friday, December 3, 2010, 3:19 AM

since I am in the beta of the VT today I am going to host a little dungeon delve (it's kobold hall since I hadn't time to create a new dungeon)

but I prepared a little intro expanding on the idea of "sea and wind" of my campaign...

    Dangerous Mines

A fortified town Dragonsphort, situated on the estuaries of a great river collects the metals from the nearby mines. An important town in the empire of Nerath it become an independent City-State at the fall of the empire, it remains independent and rich even today, the old town is a fortified island, on the shores of the river looking at the old town are situated the new towns (North Town and South Town) less fortified and sprawling. But to remain rich the mines must be protected from marauding monsters....

    Not all port are equal

    Monday, November 30, 2009, 9:55 AM

Another idea I am going to implement is that while phb1 classes are more or less standard in about all the point of light, each coalition of city state have one or two peculiar classes, that just means that usually character with that classes came or have ties with that coalition of states....

    Sea and Wind

    Friday, November 13, 2009, 1:23 AM

My starting town is a seaport with a little control of the backlands

There is more travelling by sea that any other way, the inner land are DANGEROUS, the reason are not clear but it seems that only civilized races have mastered sea navigation, abberration and other monster have numbers in the inner land in the forests, strangely very few sea monster are around.....

    Going live

    Monday, October 26, 2009, 2:52 AM

After a long hiatus of playing live in less than a month should start a small campaign. To assure that it will live beyond the first games it will be organized in small episodes so we can do 3-4 game in a 2 month period and then eventually take a pause or delve deeper in the adventure....

in 10 day I'll send the call to the adventurers....

I have to buy more miniatures....

An old fanboy with a new campaign

    Monday, October 12, 2009, 9:54 AM

The version of D&D I played the most is AD&D 1st edition (say 1985-1991), I liked 2nd edition and still played it for a few years (say 1991-1993) then I just played a little and followed as an outsider 3rd edition, 4th edition put me back in the mood of playing I found all the feel of 1st edition (but I am still waiting for the Illusionist).

With 4th edition I started a game online as a player and a campaign online as DM, now I am looking forward for a table campaign for the winter months

always a DM but I just love the 4th ed world and rules.

My campaign will be based in a sea town, I feel that there are too little seatown in published material ^__^, the world will be the "general" 4th ed world

the name of this town is in italian but in english would be something like "Castle on the Sea of the Dragons", the town was built around an old Akrosia port-castle and hase a small Dragonborn community that still try to live up the Akrosia ideals, furthermore a fairy island make it's appearence every 3years, 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days in front of the town and there are strong ties between the rulers of the towne and the Fairy Queen of the island....
