OH HELL. Well, I just posted a lengthy diatribe about what an absolutely obnoxious attitude you have and how totally absurd it is to describe a community that literally exists entirely to help peers get critical feedback on their work so they can improve their abilities as "elitist" but apparently I hit the edit button instead of the quote button, and which I DO think you're completely out of line I honestly didn't want to erase your entire post from existence. But hey, I guess that's the thing I just made happen! God. Dammit. And for that I'm sorry, although sorry in the "oh god I can't believe I just did that, that was so stupid, I shouldn't even be within ten yards of a computer at any time, clearly" sense, not in the "I have remorse and no longer think you're totally out of line" sense. Ugh, I hate everything forever. I'm going to bed and hopefully in the morning the entire internet will have lit itself on fire.

There is a difference between review and criticism and elitism.
Yes sometimes we can border on elitist. Me and everyone else. But we try to be constructive, we try and aim in on making suggestions to improve.
This also isn't a solitary endeavor. We are building a shared universe. There are certain things that come along with that, including looking at how things work within the whole tapestry we create.

You're telling the wrong guy the difference between criticism and elitism. Such the wrong guy to tell.
Every time I post criticism, I ensure it's constructive, along with giving suggestions on how to improve, as well as ideas. Would you like me to link to posts where this isn't done here? I'm making an observation about how this here group works that I hope is being taken seriously. I'm not bustin your balloons or blowing off steam; I'm making an honest observation.
Instead of defending yourselves, I really really wish you guys would say "Ok, Scion, we'll be more mindful in the future, because we want to build this place up and welcome great ideas and idea makers" instead of whatever you guys just said.
I wouldn't keep posting here if I didn't want this place to be what you guys want it to be too. But I'm calling you on some BS behavior and I hope, for the good of your group, you would give it a second look.
