Heroic Tier Feats (General)
Prerequisite: Soulknife, Mind Weapon class feature
While all soulknifes harrow their enemies with a raw portion of their soul on a critical hit, you have trained to not merely disable them, but subject them to a continued assault.
Benefit: When you impose a condition on a creature as a result of scoring a critical hit, that creature also takes ongoing 5 damage for as long as the condition persists. The damage is of the same type as the bonus damage from your Mind Weapon class feature. The ongoing damage increases to 10 at 11th level and 15 at 21st level.
Many soulknifes find that through applying their thoughts directly to their body they can make up for a lack of natural agility. While they will never be as dexterous as most soulknifes, they can excel at intellectual areas traditional soulknives generally shy from. This feat is best taken at first level and appeals especially to soulknives from intellectual races or those who dabble in the arcane.
Benefit: You may use your Intelligence modifier in place of the normal modifier for Soulknife powers, Soulknife paragon path powers, initiative checks, and basic attacks.
Mind Weapon Focus
Prerequisite: Soulknife, Shape Mind Weapon power
Since soulknives are intimately attached to their weapons, they can exert a mastery with them that exceeds even that of a typical fighter with a signature weapon.
Benefit: You gain a +2 feat bonus to damage rolls with weapon attacks with weapons created by your Shape Mind Weapon power. This bonus increases to +3 at 11th level and +5 at 21st level.
Prerequisite: Soulknife, Shape Mind Weapon power, proficeincy with any bow
While most soulknives focus on engaging their enemies in melee and form their mind weapons to that task, you choose to instead diversify by forming a ranged version of yours. This option is particularly popular with elven soulknives.
Benefit: When using a bow that is your Mind Weapon, you may treat your soulknife and soulknife paragon path powers that have a range of Melee weapon as having a range of Ranged weapon. Bows created with your Form Mind Weapon power require no ammunition, although you may use ammunition if you wish.
Many soulknives switch between weapons at will due to the ease at which their mind weapon can change form. You have taken up training in two different new weapons, one for offense and one for defense.
Benefit: You gain proficiency in both any one-handed melee weapon and any two-handed melee weapon.
Prerequisite: Soulknife, proficiency with Light Shields
Since soulsteel weighs very little, imitating a heavier shield requires only a bit more psionic focus.
Benefit: You gain proficiency with Heavy Shields and may ignore any armor check penalty from shields.
Strength of the Soul
Soulknives are famous for thier ability to perform incredible physical feats that seem impossible to others.
Benefit: You gain a feat bonus to Athletics, Acrobatics, and strength checks equal to your Charisma or Wisdom modifier.
Heroic Tier Feats (Racial)
Elemental Mind Weapon
Prerequisite: Genasi, Soulknife, Mind Weapon class feature
The souls of Genasi are infused with the elements. This elemental nature manifests as an unusual mind weapon.
Benefit: Choose a damage type from among Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Thunder. The extra damage from your Mind Weapon class feature is that type instead of whatever type it would normally be.
Shard Swarm Exposure
Prerequisite: Soulknife, Shardmind, Shard Swarm Racial Power
The natural psionic energies of Shardminds allows them to channel the mind blade energy through the shards of their bodies. When they break apart in a shard swarm, the energies within them are released and confound those around them.
Benefit: When you use your Shard Swarm racial power, you may choose for each target to be blinded or dazed until the end of your next turn rather than granting combat advantage.
Prerequisite: Changeling, Soulknife, Changeling Disguise power, Shape Mind Weapon power
Changeling soulknifes are notorious for adapting the forms and fighting styles of others. When imitating a pole arm master a changeling must adapt different fighting skills than a dagger master. Changelings use this feat to further perfect their disguises.
Benefit: When you use Changeling Disguise, you gain proficiency in one weapon of your choice until you change forms again. In addition, you may disguise weapons or shields created with your Form Mind Weapon power as normal or magical weapons.
Prerequisite: Human, Soulknife
The human spirit grows strong in the face of adversity. You can turn that boost of determination into even greater speed.
Benefit: Once per encounter, when you miss with an augmented soulknife at-will power, you may make a melee basic attack as a free action.
Weapon of Two Souls
Prerequisite: Soulknife, Kalastar, Shape Mind Weapon power
As Kalashtar are formed of the union of two Souls, when channeling psionic energy through a mind weapon they can draw upon greater energies than most.
Benefit: Your mind weapons deal damage as if they were one size category larger.
Paragon Tier Feat
Prerequisite: Soulknife, 11th level
You move so fast that you transcend the normal limits of space.
Benefit: Whenever a Soulknife or Soulknife paragon path power would allow you to shift, you may instead teleport the same distance.
Epic Tier Feats
Keen Mind Weapon
Prerequisite: 21st Level, Soulknife, Shape Mind Weapon power
Your mind weapon has an edge so sharp that can turn a solid hit into a devastating offensive.
Benefit: Attacks with your Mind Weapons can score critical hits on rolls of natural 19-20.
Prerequisite: 21st Level, Soulknife, Mind Weapon class feature
The exposure to your Soul Energy has even more dire consequences.
Benefit: If you have the Pure Blade mind weapon, once per encounter, you may choose for your target to be stunned (save ends) rather than dazed (save ends) when you score a critical hit with your Mind Weapon. If you have the Weapon of Light mind weapon, once per encounter, you may choose for your target to be blinded and weakened (save ends both) rather than blinded (save ends) when you score a critical hit with your Mind Weapon.
Soulsteel Initiate [Multiclass Soulknife]
Prerequisite: Dexterity 13, Charisma 13 or Wisdom 13
A few adventurers from other walks of life occasionally find the inborn talent to manifest mind weapons. Although these weapons lack the strength of those of a full soulknife, they still can be useful to any weapon-wielding class.
Benefit: You gain training in one skill from the soulknife's class list, the Form Mind Weapon power, and proficiency with Ki Foci.
