Plus in general the few I've seen have some similarities but still leave confusion.

 


So far what I've seen that's been balanced is this

Height: 5'9"-6'8" , weight 110-190 lbs, +2 int +2 Cha, size medium, speed 6 squares, darkvision, and things related to origin.

For me, the confusion still lies in whether or not to allow mind blast and the eating of brains, how to design the power fairly, etc. as well as other things.

 

Anyone got something that has been approved by the general gaming population?

]]> 0 Worldwide Game Day So yesterday my gang and I were short one player, and we headed off to Adventures in Comics and Games in Carmichael to play on worldwide Game Day. Upon arrival I was quite upset to know that my preorder for the DMG2 would not arrive til next week, so I sat down with my DM kit, and began work, albeit a little grumpy.

There was a massive amount of Star Wars players, and even Magic players there as well, and a total of two D&D groups.  I made good friends with two of the people from that group who joined our table, John and Ginger. We all had a fantastic time destroying the monsters at every turn and blasting our way through the map. Even the roleplaying was fun! Their then DM leader, Sean, was dressed up like a pirate and was oh-so-handsome as one (heh).

 

All in all, it was a great day, with much fun to be had. I made friends, and hopefully will be able to meet more often and play together! OH and I met hye_jedi there!! Was quite surprised someone recognized me from here!

]]> 0 Still in search of the perfect group Well, I'm still searching for those players that wish to battle for honor, xp, and glory with my current group of players. In terms of what I'm looking for, my first priority is that you either have to be ok with the fact that I am learning the DM role, or be willing to help me learn and become better. While I would not be against the possibility of relinquishing my DM seat to play a character, it would take much discussion.

My group is beginning play again on the 19th of September, at worldwide game day (hopefully). Currently I am battling some sort of unknown illness. In other news, I am awaiting the shipment of my custom built desktop, and looking forward to much work in 3d modeling, and of course gaming.  Currently I have a secret desire to work on the Character Visualizer that D&D Insider postponed their work on.

]]> 0 Searching for local players. Hi, I am a beginning Dungeon Master for 4th Edition. I prefer to play in Eberron, but can consider other settings as well. My boyfriend and I live up in Antelope, and are searching for more local players to join our current campaign. Experience levels can vary (although having a seasoned DM to help me grow would be even better).

 

If you are interested contact me and let's see what we can do. Currently my group has four players and we meet every other weekend. They are currently 2nd level, and about to begin either Khyber's Harvest or Seekers of the Ashen Crown.
