Well, needless to say, I had fun this weekend. So, as I stated in my previous blog (if indeed these count as blogs), I'm gonna write about it.
First, I should mention that I had work the previous night, and that I had no time to get a nap in before the first prerelease. So, I ended up staying up for over 24 hours. The two "naps" I did have, I'm not sure I was ever asleep. But they were resting enough, whatever they were. Anyways, the first prerelease event: Local store. I chose to go with the guild I picked for my Planeswalker Points thing, which is Golgari. And luckily, I ended up opening enough stuff to make a decent Golgari deck. Among other rares which weren't as useful (either because they weren't in Golgari colors or I never saw them during matches), I opened a [c]Lotleth Troll[/c] ...

Here's the deck I ran at a draft at the local Prerelease that took me to first place (in a rather fast but fun method). I had a hard time deciding what to cut to make it 40, so I ended up making it 45.
