OK, so to start let me lay down some foundation. I am currently working on an incredibly expansive campaign. Unlike any of my previous campaigns this one will be very planned but still flexible. I hope to achieve this by planning multiple story lines and letting my players do a lot of minor quests and adventures until they pick up on the plot hooks. Now I have a few parts of the web planned out, for instance in one I'm throwing time travel into the mix and having my players inadvertently cause the mourning, and then return to their own time to stop a similar situation from reoccurring. One of my further out there ideas was to bring the progenitor dragons into the mix... Specifically Khyber, because if I remember correctly Eberron wrapped himself around Khyber to trap and seal him... correct me if I am wrong. Now I was wondering If it would be plausible to create a cult devoted to releasing Khyber, and have them succeed!! That would allow for some really EPIC scenes! Plus I want to pick up where I left off in the campaign that follows this one. The new hero's of the first campaign will be revered, or hated, or something... depending on how they choose to go through with this, and the new group might even interact with them in some way... or receive some of their items. So I am basically wondering if I am right about Khyber and if he were to be released what would the potential effect be... also If you have any good Endgame ideas throw them in here!! I am planning on having this be very extensive and open ended... just not improved!!!
OH!! I forgot!! the campaign starts in Sharn so I am going to put a detailed map together for all levels of the city, including the sewers and ruins!! I will try to hurry with that and get it up here!!
how in teh hell are you gonna do that!? XD it's SHARN! it's impossible.
if you do this, I wanna see! >w< GOOD LUCK DUDE! I'm rooting for ya! :D
I so wanna play in this game, lemme know when it starts. what Level shall we all be? is it gonna be 4the edition though? cause I don't play 4th...
