Looks like we get January off before "Against the Cult of Chaos" begins, (dates taken from www.wizards.com/wpn/Events/Event.aspx?x=...) and the next two season will again be 9 weeks a piece.

Anyone know the starting level of this adventure? And whether it goes up 1 level per sesson?

According to the flyer on the WPN:
Players create 1st-level characters and explore a classic-feel adventure inspired by Village of Hommlet™, Against the Cult of the Reptile God™, and Keep on the Borderlands™

So it looks like we're going back to level 1. Doesn't seem to mention anything about levelling up, though.
