With the arrival of Dark Ascension, the shift back to Standard for FNM has occurred.  I was excited to add some cards to this deck, and tweak a few things in that deck, and I hoped to open some power rares from the boosters that I cracked open at the pre-release and my fat pack, however for every [card]Sorin, Lord of Innistrad[/card] type card that I opened, there were 3 [card]Lost in the Woods[/card] or something equivalently crappy.  They can't all be gems I suppose, but I wasn't going to be building the black white token deck of my dreams tonight.  I do have an original idea about [card]Birthing Pod[/card], but the rare red and green creatures didn't show too much either.  So what is a builder to do in these circumstances?
