The folks over at Open Deisgn/Kobold Quarterly have a kickstarter to fund the production of a bestiary for the Midgard campaign setting. This project definitley had a British vibe going on as it was led by Rich Green (community.wizards.com/richgreen01) and I contributed to it as well (designing 1 monster and playtesting others).
"The Midgard Bestiary features over 150 imaginative, playtested, and deadly monsters to use as adversaries in any 4th Edition D&D game, either in Midgard or in your home campaign world."
"This Kickstarter is just to cover final production and printing costs, because theBestiary is already written, edited, and illustrated. With your help, we'll unleash 150 new monsters for 4th Edition this September!"
So if you are looking for new and interesting monsters to throw at your players then go over here (www.kickstarter.com/projects/350683997/m...) and pledge away!
The project has hit its initial funding goal and we are now aiming for the first stretch goal. I've also got a design diary up on the Kobold Quarterly blog here where I write about my two of my favourite monsters - the Ghost Boar of the Ringwood and the Derro Fetal Savant. You can also check out a preview of the page layout.
