Hi all,
I'm new here and thought I should say aloha. So, aloha! I'm just looking to make friends with fellow D&D lovers so that I can swap tips and stories and, who knows, maybe play a game or two with some of you one day. I've been playing in a 3.5 campaign for about a year now (level 13 Arcane Archer) but had to leave for various reasons that I won't bore you with here. I'd love to be able to carry on playing with this character some time if I can ever find a suitable game. I also DM for a bunch of my friends (currently about level 6), which is awesome fun, but would like to have people I can bounce ideas off and get DM tips from, because I'm pretty new to the whole thing, and for obvious reasons can't talk to any of my friends about it.
So that's about it really... and I hope someone replies to this otherwise I will feel very unpopular.

dont worry your not alone here. its a great place to bounce ideas around, you may also want to check out the NewDM group too.

Hey  Nice to meet you. New to the site here too, altho a lot of my friends are on here. I havent played D&D for a very long long time and looking to get back into it (just need to learn the rules again) Theres just a point in time where you go i miss rolling dice and i want to get back into it Jenbuu

Hey jenbuu, Good to meet you I know that feeling, DMing is fun but I do miss playing! Never mind learning the rules again, I haven't really learnt them a first time. My sessions comprise a lot of winging it and lots of pauses to study rule books :p But I think it's all part of the fun :D

aye heh, ive also played earthdawn a bit so ounce you get one set of rules in your head its pretty easy to get to grips with another one.
gonna get a sub to ddi i think and play on the vt tables seems good, or ill just find a game around here lol
