With the second tweetup done, the third arranged for october and fully booked up already (places went in roughly 14 hours), I still want to do another meetup this year... So, on the weekend of Friday 17th June/Sat 18th June, my family, and hopefully some others, are descending on the campsite at Pierrepont in Nottingham. This is a council run campsite alongside the National Water Sports Centre, where you can do white water rafting etc. The aim is to visit Mondo Comico who is taking part in the Free RPG Day promotion, grab some freebies, spend lots of money, have the saturday afternoon to ourselves, than gather round in the evening for food, drink, and gaming! Basic details on the campsite are here: www.nwscnotts.com/accommodation/hotel-an...You don't need to book a camping place, 2 adults with tent and car is £11.50 (much cheaper than most sites), a family pitch is £14, and extra adults in a tent are £3.50 each. As far as they've told me, there's no hidden extras with regards large tents, or any restrictions on 1 night only stays. On Twitter, we're calling this #ukt2AndABit, so come and join us...

Might be able to pop down during the day (supposed to be on call for work but might sneak a trip to notts).
Didnt realise Mondo were taking part in the Free RPG event, might have to run up there first, the sneak peak of the WotC item looks to be Ravenloft/Shadow oriented. What's Mondo's address and whats the parking like in the area?
"Well that encounter was easy....er, guys, why is the DM grinning?" (party members last words) It's not a party till the screaming starts!

Yeah, this years offering from WotC is a supplement for the Shadowfell box set, a new domain of dread written by Logon Bonner, and it's meant to include a really good map.
Mondo Comico is on Heathcoat Street, not far from the centre, though given nottingham seems to have 3 main areas, and its near 2 of those... Theres some parking meters outside, with a maximum stay of an hour I believe. For the tweetup, we parked in the big underground one underneath the shopping centre, about 5 minutes walk away.

Sounds cool. A chance to hand with some roleplayers and camp at the same time. Gonna see if the rest of my immediate family is interested as well.
