Hi,

having a bit more experience with my kids and their likes and dislikes of D&D, i have to change the enemies I use.

In the last session I used giant spiders as enemies. Both kids told or better let me know later on, that those enemies were too terrifying.

So i am thinking of more humoristic and far away from reality enemies. Zombies are a bad example of enemies because of their connection to humans and rotten meat, but a water elemental described as spitting water fountain may be more useful. Perhaps dancing bones (skeletons) maybe also useful.

I miss humoristic adventures in the Dungeon, too. I will never forget the yellow snails.

Perhaps we could set up a wiki for monster being kids usable and the humoristic description of them.

THe nice thing is that you can reskin anything.  A deathjump spider could be a garden gnome with springs on its feet.
