Parents, what gives you Gamer Parent Pride when your child does something that relates to you as a gamer?

For example, my Oliver (2yrs, 3months) can now recognise my D&D photos on my phone (usually the battle grid & mini's I take every session) and can say "Dee enn dee" :D

*tears of pride!*

He also has my 20 sided flashing dice (which I don't use anymore, as it rolls terribly!), which he simply calls "Twenty" :D

Mine would be my son about 11-12 years ago proudly sorting all my dice into groups and showing everyone he had done it ! Having said that he then proved that d4's are like caltrops by throwing them all around the house - man those things are sharp when you stand on them barefoot !

My son and I helped to playtest one of the adventure modules coming out at Origins this year, Living Forgotten Realms CALI4-2. As playtesters both of our names will be appearing on the front of the module.

Hey Ore thats pretty cool. Sadly we dont have any 'mainstream' Cons in the UK anymore :-( I used to love going to GenCon UK but over the years the organisers successfully killed it as they didnt know the UK gaming industry or population well enough.

Still your story is really cool and I will look out for the module if i can get my hands on it !
