Over the past several weeks I've noticed a marked increase in the amount of flaming, trolling, and overall hostility that people are showing towards each other on this board. Can we please not do this? It's really unbecoming and pointless. We all just want to play D&D, right?
I think it's worth repeating this.
Unfortunately there is a fair number of people who are hostile toward my preferred edition because according to them it s not "really dnd"
It really doesn't matter why people are being hostile. I just thought it was worth reposting since so many people on this very thread have pretty much ignored it -- people who feel they have to be Right and for everyone else to acknowledge that. People who feel that their way of playing is the One True Way and everyone else is playing badwrongfun. People who feel that because they don't want something in the book, no one else should have it either. *sigh*
People, it's a game. Yes we all want it to be a really great game and a game that does exactly what we want it to. But not everyone is going to get exactly what they want. And, in the end ...
It's . A . Game.
In memory of wrecan and his Unearthed Wrecana.5e should strongly stay away from "I don't like it, so you can't have it either."

Howdy folks,
Unfortunately, this thread, ironically, has spiraled into an edition war and will now be closed.
Thanks.
