Ok, I have to admit, I have a problem with advantages...
When 8 kobolds attack the fighter who is up front -- which has happened in my playtest -- I usually pick up 8 of my d20s, roll em all, and figure out what the result has to be to scrore a hit, then roll damage all at once. This is much faster than eight individual rolls.
However, if those kobolds have advantage, I need to roll twice. That doesn't mean rolling twice as many dice and picking the winners. I have to roll them in pairs. So that's harder.
I could just roll 8 dice, and then re-roll the misses... but to be by the rules I also have to reroll the hits to see if any were natural 20s.
I haven't figured out a good way to streamline this. Thoughts?

Colored dice. Instead of rolling 16 random 20's, roll two clear-purple, two clear-red, two matt-orange, two silver-spindowns, two swirly-green, two clear-yellow, two black-with red numbers, and two marbled-blue/white (to take an example from my dice bag)
With the (dis)advantage system, DM's will be buying their 20-siders in pairs.

Well you could match up die colors (have two red dice, two blu dice etc). It doens't alter the mechanic, but it make rolling a large amount of attacks easier. You could also just se them to average damage so you're only rolling to attack, but this might draw complaints from certain players. It is situation's like this were I think a kobold swarm would be a much more useful entity to have on the battlefield, it simulates lots of kobolds but doesn't bog down game play with tons of rolls.

Matching up die colors means finding those dice. Bleh!
The best solution I can find are roll a pool, reroll the misses, and live with the kobolds having a slightly lower chance of critting. It's not perfect but its not terrible.
I may have to write up a digital roller to take care of this kind of situation.

Here's an option.
1)Roll N d20s.
2)Determine how many are hits (let's say X).
3)Roll Xd20s looking for crits.
4)Roll N-Xd20s looking for hits.

Yeah, I can do it that way stix, but that's a lot of steps. Step 3 adds very little benefit, and takes a while. I'm one of those DMs always trying to be lightning fast with my turns, and encouraging players to do the same.
