A349: They must solely do so since searching for a hidden creature is an action.  (How To Play PDF pg. 14)

A350: No, the degree of illumination has no effect on movement.  (DM Guideline PDF pg. 11)

Q351: The "Disciplined" Trait on some monsters allows them to give Advantage to a friendly creature who is also Disciplined. Does this include themselves? Can a solo Hobgoblin give himself Advantage on his target, for example?

Q352:  What attribute does an Arcanist Cleric use when casting a Wizard spell that he or she knows as one of the spells granted for being an Arcanist, Wisdom or Intelligence?  (I might have missed it in the package).

A346: You're right, Clerics currently cannot read a Spell Scroll since they don't have access to Reag Magic or a similar effect to decipher it.

EDIT I poked Mike Mearls on Twitter and here's what he said:

Can Clerics use a Spell Scroll in #dndnext even if they don't have access to Reag Magic or a similar effect to decipher it ?
should not need read magic if they have spell on their list

Cool, thanks!

Ah, I think I understand the missing link now - some "specialty priests" we'll call them in D&D Next might have access to typically wizard spells - a cleric who follows the Storm Caller can cast lightning bolt, for example.  So if they find a scroll of lightning bolt right now, they can't read or use it.

Which begs the question: is that intended, or will clerics have access to more spells than usual via scrolls in the future?  I guess it depends on how they want scroll access to work - whether they want wizards to be the "best," whether they want certain clerics to have access to more than just cleric spells, etc.

Thanks a million! Q350 wasn't what I meant exactly so let me rephrase that:
Q353: Does 'moving silently' effect your movement rate?

Q354: When Dual wielding 2 light weapons, are both of your attack rolls -2, or just 1 of your weapons? Because it says, "If both weapons are light, one of them is not affected in this way (your choice.)"

Also, since when you use the Dual wielding feat, NEITHER OF THE WEAPONS ARE LIGHT. So you can use your strength modifier on both, correct?

A354: Unfortunately, I feel like the wording on this one is a bit messy.

We've run: -2 to both. Even with the dual wielding feat.
The 'this' is referring to damage bonus, rather than attack bonus.

It seems that the dual wielding feat might allow the 'off-hand' attack to gain the damage bonus from strength (plus the increased damage from the bigger weapon). That's up to a +7 average damage point swing which is quite heavy at lower levels.

We've run: So we've often played that the offhand is weapon dice damage only. However, we've also allowed mdd or mdb on either swing that hits, which is probably the more useful of the two throughout the entire level tree.

A351: I'd say no, the friendly creature must be an ally of you, not yourself.

A352: It doesn't say which, but i'd say Wisdom as per Attack Spell  (How To Play PDF pg. 23).

A353: No, there seems to be no effect on speed or movement reduction when you move silently.
