Secret Handshake
by Jon Schindehette

You know the secret handshake. Right? Maybe not? Jon Schindehette, senior creative director, goes over what he means by the secret handshake, plus gives you some thoughts on what it could be for D&D. Of course, he wants to know what you think, too!

Talk about this article here.

astralArchivist.com - 4e D&D house rules, homebrew, and story hours - now featuring ENWorld's Zeitgeist adventure path!

Will Thibault is a winged, feathered serpent rarely found anywhere except in warm, jungle-like regions or flying through the ether. Due to his intelligence and powers he is regarded with awe by the inhabitants of his homelands and is considered to be divine.

Whatever you pick, don't make it discreet.

Make it strong and badass....

This is in my opinion the ultimate geek logo:
(It can be modified in many ways, still be recognizable, still badass)

Any dragon is gonna be a dragon, wether you game or not.

I'd suggest the d20 sans numeration.

If you go with something original,  my suggestion would be a stylized "D" made from a dragon (much like the end-it above) and have it and a mirror image linked together with whatever ampersand superimposed in the center. Because that probably is a bad description, here's a very rough quick and dirty mock up:

Hopefully that gives a vague idea--the Ds need to be a little more D-like, but not necessarily enough to be instantly recognizable as a D, and one should loop through the other. The ampersand needs something.
Playtest or get off the playtest boards.

If I wear the new D&D logo on a t-shirt then I want to be recognized by the right people and ignored by the rest.

Look at this t-shirt for comparison. It is from a computer game.

My wife loves game t-shirts she collects them, strangely I however never where one I like the idea of a vary iconic D&D logo T-shirt coupled with some nice fantasy art. I have always like the ones by Jinx particularly there wow stuff. www.jinx.com/shop/coll/jinx/?gclid=CLvR_...
