I've been watching the series with my kids (5 and 7) and they have been loving it. We are a low (almost no) TV household, so they aren't expecting lots of 'splosions and crazy pace. For them and for me, that cartoon is fantastic. It is funny, the adventures are fun, the characters have enough to be interesting, and its D&D! My kids would give away their allowance to see the show come back!

I think HUB should start with reairing the original cartoon. Those smarter than I, are there licenesing issues with that?
If there's any licensing issues, they can't be any worse than 60's Batman.

A cartoon show like "order of the stick"? Like that ide but the drawing/art/picture oughn´t be so..simple, and the jokes about d20 rules aren´t fun for people who don´t know the system.
I´m thinking about the remake "He-man and masters of universe". Wasn´t it a good cartoon show?
What about a mithpunk, like urban arcana + cyberpunk (with races from d20 future)? It would be perfect for a line of action toys.
And a action-live teleserie of "Dark Matters"?

community.wizards.com/art_teach/go/galle... I made some rough images a few years ago about the dnd cartoon. My idea was to age them and look at how their relationships have changed over time. With the success of Transformers, Thundercats, and other 80's and 90's retro cartoons DnD would be a logical one to be next.

Sheila's using her invisibility cloak 24/7 in that future, I guess

And Patrick Warburton could voice the Fighter.

Derp the Barbarian and Herp, his faithful unicorn :P
I don't think reusing those characters in that way would be such a good idea. After all, the target demographic (kids!) largely has no idea who they were and doesn't care. Not to mention I'd prefer to see more racial diversity than "white and black humans" in a D&D cartoon. Gimmie a gnome and a dragonborn!
