Why don’t you start off by telling us a little bit about you and your history with D&D, what you're playing now, and anything else you want people to know about you? I am an online community coordinator for Wizards of the Coast and got my start in the community by volunteering for the VCL program back during the Gleemax era. I have been playing D&D since 1988, starting with the Red Box then moving straight into AD&D 2nd Edition. Dove headfirst into 3rd Edition as soon as it came out and did the same with 4th Edition. During both the 2nd Edition era and the 4th Edition era, I...
You've got questions—we've got answers! Here's how it works—each week, our Community Manager will be scouring all available sources to find whatever D&D Next questions you're asking. There are certain business and legal questions we can't answer (for business and legal reasons). And if you have a specific rules question, we'd rather point you to Customer Service, where representatives are ready and waiting to help guide you through the rules of the game. That said, our goal is provide you with as much information we can—in this and other venues....
Why don’t you start off by telling us a little bit about you and your history with D&D, what you're playing now, and anything else you want people to know about you? Before I answer any questions, I just want to say I'm honored to even be asked to participate. I am truly humbled. As for who I am, my name is Rhys Fawkes, I'm 30 years old, and I currently live with my wife and daughter in Hong Kong, though I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a professional video game designer, but the bulk of my work is as a consultant for companies in "gamification", to improve...

Why don’t you start off by telling us a little bit about you and your history with D&D, what you're playing now, and anything else you want people to know about you? I’m the D&D and Kaijudo Operations coordinator in Game Support. I’ve been working at Wizards for almost 4 years now, where I originally started as an in-house ORC. I just turned 33, am married but have no kids, so comparatively I’ve got a pretty good amount of time in my life for gaming (which I do, copiously). I started playing D&D in the mid-90’s, during 2nd edition with some high school...

Why don’t you start off by telling us a little bit about you and your history with D&D, what you're playing now, and anything else you want people to know about you? I fix computers for a living, and do programming and game design on the side. I play many games, but usually those that involve tactics or strategy. Often I'll enjoy playing with the meta as much as playing the game itself. Currently, I'm playing a lot of League of Legends. As for D&D my first experience was a bad one. I was invited to play (3 or 3.5) by an acquaintance. So i went, spent 20 minutes...

Why don’t you start off by telling us a little bit about you and your history with D&D, what you're playing now, and anything else you want people to know about you? I started playing about five years ago, in 3.5, and after moving found a new group interested in playing 4e, which I've had a blast playing. Most of my D&D nowadays happens on GameTable Online, which picked up the D&D Virtual Table. But beyond D&D, I've been playing games of all kinds my entire life, running the whole spectrum. Video games of a variety of genres, board games, card games, I love them all. What do...
