I will be running D&D Next playtest "Caves of Chaos" for level 1 characters on Sunday, January 27, 2013 4:00PM Eastern time.  If interested, please post your interest as a reply to this message and I'll send you an invite. 

Also, if you cannot stay for the entirety of the game, please let me know that in your initial post so that you can be placed as an alternate instead of taking a slot away from someone who can stay for the entire duration.

*You need to have signed the OPTA and downloaded the Playtest material from WoTC's website to play. You'll also need to be registered on RPGTO if you aren't already, it takes only a few seconds and its free.

     The realm of Aylewindst has enjoyed peace for the past 20 years. With the recent death of King Eisen and no rightful heir to claim the throne, the realm is thrown into a state of anarchy for the past several months.  The nobles war amongst themselves vying for land while outside threat of orc, goblin, and troll armies loom at their borders. One noble is fighting off these invaders, Victor von Mallard recently dubbed royalty as baron by the late King Eisen.  Victor von Mallard agreed to share his wealth with the king in return his grandnephews would marry royalty. Coincidentally, each baroness has either died or gone missing. Now, Victor von Mallard taxes the nobles and commoners heavily to support his war with the beastmen invaders.

Unfortunately, yes. Without a microphone, communication is hindered and ultimately delays the pace of the game.

So, two players for you? I've sent you an invite. Go ahead and build your character using updated D&D Next(5.0) playtest material on GTO table. Do you know what class you're playing? Cleric, fighter, monk, rogue, or wizard?
