Thanks for your interest in improving the Dungeons & Dragons Virtual Table! Before sending in a bug report, please review the known issues list below to see if the bug you found has already been reported. If so, there’s no need to send in an email as we are already aware of the issue. D&D Virtual Table Known Issues
- Dialogs: Pressing “Enter” does not default to save for various dialogs. Must click button with mouse.
- Tiles: Unable to move 1X1 tiles that are under map note. Must delete map note to move the tile.
- Journal: Pressing “New” while text is in journal field will create a new entry even if the old entry hasn’t been saved.
- Voice: Voice chat may not work on Linux. Linux is not supported at this time.
- Voice: Changes to input and output devices are not saved in the voice configuration window when a user closes the application.
- Maps: These are listed in an arbitrary fashion in the map list instead of being listed in the order they were created.
- AFK icon: There is a visual quirk with the AFK icon; it appears behind some of the art in the left hand panel instead of above it.
- Clear All Drawing: If a user uses the “Clear All Drawing” command (accessible under the Map menu) when over the resource/memory limit to remove all drawings from a map, they will need to close the application and then launch back into the application in order to go back under the resource/memory limit and make additions to the campaign.
- PC Powers: PC power descriptions that are very long have the last couple of lines cut off. Pressing “Edit” on the effected character and then “Save” without making any changes will fix this issue until the next time the user signs on.
- Token Names: When a monster is deleted from the entries in the monster tab, token names will no longer appear on the map. The user must leave the application and launch back in to see token names.
- Campaign Notes: Campaign notes that haven’t been saved will blank out if another user saves their campaign notes.
- Revenants: Revenants cannot be imported from the Character Builder.
- Monster Import: A display bug is sometimes triggered if a user imports a new monster while the Monsters tab is open and empty of all monsters since application launch. Switching between tabs makes the bug worse, but it is fixed by exiting and relaunching the application.
- Monster Import: Regenerative qualities do not import to Monster Notes.
- Monster Import: Speed notes fail to import—e.g. “spider climb,” “earthwalk,” or “7 while charging”
- Monster Import: Vulnerabilities/resistances display incorrectly if described incorrectly in Monster Builder. (e.g. “Vulnerable 5 radiant, 10 against close and area attacks, 20 against critical hits,” in Monster Builder imports as “Vulnerabilities: 5 radiant, 10 against, 20 against” )
- Monster Import: Official monster types are cut short (“Level 19 Elite Controller Medium Shadow Humanoid” becomes “Level 19 Medium Humanoid.” ) This bug does not affect custom monsters.
- Monster Import: New monsters from the Neverwinter Campaign Setting will not show in the monster import list.
- Monster Import: Updated monsters will not import with new stats.
- PC Import: Display issue when viewing second page of PC import window. PCs from the first page appear listed after the PCs on the second page. This issue goes away when the window is moved. The incorrectly displayed first-page results cannot be selected, as they are just lingering from the previous page.
- PC Import: Information from the Neverwinter Campaign Setting will import with blank descriptions.
If you did not see the bug you found listed above, then please send in your bug report. Whenever possible, make sure to include the following information:
- Basic information on your computer (operating system, which browser you’re using)
- A detailed description of what you were doing when the bug occurred, and screenshots to help provide explanation if applicable.
- A screenshot of the error message generated by the bug (if one appears).
Once you have all that information together, please fill out the form bug reporting form here. Make sure to attach any screenshots you may have taken to the reporting form. Thanks for your help in improving the D&D Virtual Table.

When I click on the link for the bug report I get sent to a redirect loop.
As a side note, this happens a lot with WoTC links to various parts of their site. Like help, contact us, and such. It's very annoying. More so when it's because I want to send you information to help you fix something. Honestly, I will try once and if I get this redirect loop, I'm simply going to stop trying after that.
So how can we fix this, because i know I'm not the only person who has this happen, and I really don't think it's my side of things, because I don't get these kinds of issues with other sites I go to. And the fact that there are many areas on WoTC's site that I get this redirect loop.
So I'm going to report my bugs in the bug forum, with a screen shot of them. If you need my export character files, you are going to have to give me a way to send them other then that link.
This doesn't have to do with my builder characters not importing right. Doing a save copy worked, but some feats had bugs, which i want to report.
Thanks.

Hey Dane, That's a known issue with our help site, and there's some links to help fix it posted in a couple places. For example, we've got a sticky in the VT general area talking about it here.

Hey Dane,

I've done that and posted in that thread, and it seemed partially fixed for a while, but not anymore.
I honestly can't keep posting and asking for something to be fixed. I'm not being a jerk, it's just the limit I'm willing to go through as a customer.

The only bug I seem to have found is one where I get timed out of the chat room and it won't let me back in unless I close the browser and reopen it. Nothing else works.

If you get timed out of the chat, you can click on the "Open room" button and then click general to re-open it.

I don't know if this is a bug or intentional, but I was tinkering with the Area of Effect tool, and while it did great to draw the area of effect, it wouldn't delete the area drawn. I tried creating a new one, and that just created the new one over the old one. The only way to get rid of the areas was to dump the map and start over. Thanks!

Erutan: They didn't go away when you right clicked and hit "Delete AOE"? Things were working great last night in that regard on my table.
