Do you still "love the direction that Wizards is taking Dungeons and Dragon?"

    Last Post By: Felorn

Which truely this is very similar to old school D&D. Classes were essentially the same. That is one thing 4e changed drastically. And that was to have a different and dynamic character even if there were multiple fighter, or rogues, or what ever clas... more

    Removing Alignment from 4e?

    Last Post By: Kauldron

Having played D&D some 30+ years, and a DM for many campaigns, I would have to disagree with sentiments against alignment. There are several reasons for this, first and most important is alignment is a guideline based on choices. Did your character... more

    Easy Conversions

    Last Post By: jaylaugh

I’ve found conversions to be fairly simple.  The simplest is to just use the adventure arch and replace the monsters with whatever you feel appropriate for the character level or that fit with whatever story tweaks you might make.  I don’t usua... more

Hi everyone, Im pretty new to D&D game. I first got interested into this game when I picked up my first starter package. I thought it would be hard to understand how it all works. The 4th Ed is my fist Edition I started out with. I began collecting books, tiles, maps, and minis to make the game much more enjoyable. When I compaired to the old minis fromt the 3rd and 3.5 Ed. The character cards seems hard to understand them. But I feel in love with the 4th Ed cause it seems much more clearer for me to grasp the idea of what fun it is to use.

I still am a avid player and veteran of 2nd Edition, for my own personal play. After a read of the new PHB, however, I have found the new 4th Edition was easy to teach, and introduce to my two nieces and their brother. They have survived their first mini adventure, and want to continue on...I think that says it all.

4E ROX! My group & I were play-testing it a few months before its release and I gotta say that it just seems to be getting better & better. 4e has put the fun back into D&D again, so much in fact that I've started designing a whole new world recently, and after picking up the DMG2 a few days ago, I feel quite inspired to create more than I anticipated. May the dice Gods be well to everyone...
