D&D and comics have a long history, all the way back to the clearly underground influenced "Wormy" and the naughty "What's New with Phil & Dixie" from the old Dragon days, through a range of strips in Dragon and comics from DC and other publishers, and then through webcomics including the very successful Order of the Stick. Now, IDW stands to take on a new venture in D&D comic publishing.
