My ProfileAbout Me
About Me:
Movies:
Star Wars (saw the first one in a drive-in back in 1978. Hmm,oddly enough, that was the same year I started playing D&D...
Die Hard (IMO-the standard for action movies and the greatest villain of all time!) James Cameron (anything he makes is gold in my book) Indiana Jones (another one I grew up with, and now I watch them with my kids)
TV Shows:
I don't watch much TV, but I do enjoy Castle (Nathan Filion is my hero.)
Books, Comics and Graphic Novels:
I read everything I can get my hands on.
Currently reading: Sorcerer of the North by John Flanagan, part 5 of the Ranger's Apprentice series. Terrific low-magic fantasy series. My top recommendation is World War Z by Max Brooks, because I think it shows incredible relevancy and insight into not only the human condition, but a grasp of world politics as well; one could easily substitute zombies in the book for any natural disaster on a world-wide scale.
Music:
I like everything from Mozart to Queensryche. I listen to Pandora, and the basis for my current station was Dio, Damn Yankees, and Slade. My wife says I am hopelessly stuck in the 80's but I grew up with the Who,Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Steppenwolf and I wetn to high school in the age of Motley Crue and Iron Maiden, so I gues that's where my fond music memories lie.
Wizard Book Lines:
Dark Sun
Forgotten Realms Other D&D
Likes:
Playing for fun, building a story and being with cool people
Dislikes:
People who have to compete
My Games:
Axis & Allies
Betrayal at House on the Hill Diplomacy Dungeons & Dragons Heroscape Magic: The Gathering RoboRally Star Wars Roleplaying Games The Great Dalmuti
Other Games I Play:
Gamma World

Some of my 3d terrain is from Fat Dragon Games (RPGNow.com) www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?manufact... and some is just printed textures or tiles, cut and folded into the shape I needed. I love the three dimensional aspect 4th edition contains and I really enjoy creating 3d battlefields for my players! It can be done without spending a lot of money. (except maybe printer ink...)
