You can check out my seven constructed casual decks in my profile under the blogs.  I tried to balance all of the decks as best as possible.  I don't play with any of the Power Nine cards (Black Lotus, the Moxes, Ancestral Recall, Time Walk, Timetwister).  I also don't play with any "color hoser" cards like Anarchy or the Circles of Protection.  
Since I'm an old school Magic player, six of the eight decks contain cards only from the Alpha/Beta/Unlimited through Alliances sets.  The exception is the Sliver deck (Gold) & Exalted (Silver), which contains cards from the earlier to later sets.  I'm a big fan of the older sets because they are the ones that were around when I first started playing.  The older sets also have a higher...
