You can check out my seven constructed casual decks in my profile under the blogs. I tried to balance all of the decks as best as possible. I don't play with any of the Power Nine cards (Black Lotus, the Moxes, Ancestral Recall, Time Walk, Timetwister). I also don't play with any "color hoser" cards like Anarchy or the Circles of Protection.
Since I'm an old school Magic player, six of the eight decks contain cards only from the Alpha/Beta/Unlimited through Alliances sets. The exception is the Sliver deck (Gold) & Exalted (Silver), which contains cards from the earlier to later sets. This is my all-black deck. It's based off of the Necropotence speed decks that were popular back in the day. It's basically a weenie deck with lots of discarding spells and effects. I was influenced by the deck pictured below in Inquest issue #18.

This is a red/black deck based on the old Rukh Egg/Jokulhaups combo. I got the idea from a deck in the Inquest Magazine, issue #14, called "Omelet Onslaught." The original deck was three colors; Red, Black and Green. I cut it down to red and black with it mostly being red. The idea is to get the Rukh Eggs into play and then cast a Jokulhaups at the right time. Not only does the Jokulhaups kill all of your opponents artifacts, creatures and lands, but you also get a 4/4 flying creature on board as well, thus potentionally crippling your foe. Of course the Jokulhaups kills off all of your own stuff as well. This deck is also equiped with many burn spells for defense and/or damaging the opponent directly. ...
