I think I really nailed the Retard Aesthetic that is so crucial to D&D--sad that our current Art Director has not hit on this brilliance--but I am available for Font Consulting for D&DNext!

Fun Clean Drive up the 405!

This continues to be the strangest water feature in all of Southern California.

Our favorite barrista was back at the Ralphs--great to see her. Jack got a coffee this week!

We had a better parking space then Rico!

Which is very very odd!

Everyone was set up in the Front for Character Creation!

Character creation involves a LOT of flipping through books!

But Brian enjoyed it!

Likely the most focused the front room will be all season!

David already had his Kobold Skald or some such sillyness--so he helped Brian create some Goblin Warlock--this season is going to be a train wreck!

We have new DM's this season which should make it a lot of fun!

And DM Rico will be returning to behind the screen! A treat for all of us!

here is the synopsis from tsr.com:
Adventure Background: Web of the Spider Queen
Long past are the days when drow ruled over Shadowdale from the Twisted Tower—or are they? Beneath the sleepy farming community, an old evil stirs. The drow and their foul Underdark minions have set eyes on the Dalelands, but to what end is anyone’s guess. Now, it’s up to an unlikely band of adventurers to defend Shadowdale from the drow threat and learn what Lolth and her villainous followers are up to. Success means a respite from danger. Failure could doom the surface world.
Session 0: Prior to the adventure, players have a sesion set aside to create 1st-level characters.
