Horrible night for Quinn--never rolled over a five.
Team Lower Table [TLT] was able to totally dominate again--theives were awesome.
Here is a quick breakdown of what went down with spoilers if you have not played it yet.
We got Gordi back into the Keep. He asked that we shroud him in a cloak so as not to alert the gaurds, which of course got our roll playing paranoia cranked up to 11.
We returned Gordi to to Benwick who healed his poison. we assisted with this. We did not give Benwick the necklace that proved Ronnick may be connected to Tiamet.
Benwick took us to dinner. We paid one gold for Ale. We noticted a halfling eves dropping on us, who fled the resteraunt when he noticed our attention on him. We chased him down straight into an ambush.
We rolled great initiative--like half the party over a 20. The theives chopped the halfling down in round one. Dwarf and Quinn marked up and went to work. Cleric did his deal. Bad guys POUNDED us--three people left stunned--one theif at three hit points. Quinn took like 23 points. Eladrian burned a minion.
round two saw the theives continue to struggle on defense. The dwarf continue to pound, Quinn continue to roll poorly, the cleric started handing out healing words. Eladrian's magic missle kept doing its thing. Bad guys did not roll as well.
Round three was the turning point--most of the minions were down, two of the thugs were down, the others were hurt--we unleashed on them--dwarf took out one, Quinn rolled a two, both attacked Quinn, one hit. Cleric took out the last one.
A fairly quick and easy fight--TLT has great focused fire and is playing well together. We did use up all the action points.
