My ProfileAbout Me
About Me:
I'm soldier currently stationed in Fort Lewis, WA, who is currently deployed to Iraq for the third time. I've been a big D&D fan since i was 14 and my cousin gave me a duffel bag full of his old 2nd, 1st, and original D&D books. I openly admit to being a geek and playing D&D (besides geeks are in these days lol). I've even made a "pilgrimage" to the WOTC HQ a while back just to say i've been there, but i doubt that purple faced wizard with the floating eye from Complete Arcane is still the first thing you see when you get off the elevator lol. I've traveled a bit, when I was stationed in Germany both times (Northern Ireland, Ireland, Germany obviously, a little of Austria and northern Italy, Prague, and all over Poland). I've only recently in the last couple of years gotten back to playing D&D, but its just as fun as the last times i really got to sit down and play.
Movies:
Kevin Smith movies (Dogma and Clerks 2 especially); the Twilight series (yes i like them, sue me lol); fighting anime; Lord of the Rings trilogy; sci-fi movies in general.
TV Shows:
Currently watching Dexter; also watch Smallville, Heroes, and Dragonball Z; don't get to watch too much.
Books, Comics and Graphic Novels:
Currently reading "The Gathering Storm", one of the last books to be written by Robert Jordan, and just jumped into the Shannara series.
Music:
Rock; a little bit of everything else.
Wizard Book Lines:
Dark Sun
Dragonlance Forgotten Realms
Hobbies:
D&D (obviously); writing (had an idea for a story for like almost 12 years now); messing around on the internet; history and trivia;
Likes:
D&D (duh), movies; chilling with my kids; I like swords (referenced pun intended) and took up RMA to learn how to use a western longsword; playing with my kids; traveling the world (and not with the Army mind you lol).
Dislikes:
Stupid people.
My Games:
Dungeons & Dragons
Other Games I Play:
D&D is about all I have time for. The Army keeps me busy.

Look at what Dragon 1, 100, 200 go for.... never will Dragon 400 generate that or even generate that much interest. I recall when I first subscribed to Dragon, eagerly awaiting the arrival of my magazine and reading it cover to cover... then came the WoTC buy out...
