Taj-Nar - 15 F

The majestic ancient den of the leonin bathes in the soft golden glow reflected from mirror plates which form the plains. The very skies themselves seem repeated in the ground below, from the tall spire of Taj-Nar to the smallest of clouds floating high above.

Four towers are spaced evenly around a central structure. Behind each extend long corridors back to Taj-Nar proper. At the opening they can only admit a single large humanoid, but by the time they reach the central spire they can easily hold multiple dragons flying abreast. Each of these towers and corridors use different designs and material, one repeats the shining plates of the land nearby, while another copies the rough spikes of the razorgrass, a third is similar to overlapping plate armour, and the last seems to be made of blades and pikes.

Where each corridor meets is the ancient den itself, a city filled with leonine civilians. It reaches into the sky twice as high as each corridor is long and is capped by a small dome. A pair of streets wind their way up through numerous housing and residential zones to the halfway point where they open out into an aerial platform for resupply and landing of the skyguard. From there the ramp proceeds to battlements surrounding the temple on the outside. Carefully placed within this dome is the holiest of leonin knowledge, whosoever holds these are capable of ensuring that all leonin resources go to bolstering their own forces.

  • Numerous holes in the plains directly surrounding Taj-Nar.
  • Tower entrances loosely sealed, southernmost completely cleared.
  • Aerial platform collapsed and upper streets filled with rubble.
  • Leonin have negative reactions to Phyrexia.
