Endara Elfhame - 4 E
Few of the elfhames of Llanowar managed to survive the countless wars that have raged across Dominaria intact. From the original seven, five are barely holding on as primitive tribes hidden within the forest, while another lies completely in ruin; but the last and currently most powerful has managed to hold onto its land through good fortune and stubborn isolationism. Thus, under the oblivious rule of the Endara family the elfhame retains its existence isolated from the world outside the forest. The remaining elven communities are scattered throughout the forest forming small patches of habitation high amongst the treetops. Their homes are made of local materials and are carefully hidden behind the leaves and branches in which they reside. But the wars have not been kind to the Endara elfhame. The vast majority of these communities have been abandoned to the elements. While stripped of useful resources, they can still provide a clear view to the ground below while remaining concealed from sight. In the middle is the nerve centre of the elfhame – the Endara palace. It is a strange structure, with pink stone and blue tiled roofs the whole place stands out bizarrely from the surrounding forest and the elven hovels in the treetops above. As a defensive position the palace is sorely lacking, it is instead designed to show opulence and hope – both commodities long lost in these trying times. Large windows and balconies erupt chaotically from four stories and bronze statues sprout from pointed conical roofs. At the highest point is a cloister, complete with bell to call the coming day. Inside the palace there is insufficient room for a full army, as it was designed as a living space. It has long corridors leading into multiple rooms with spiral steps, nothing out of the ordinary. The only gain to be had is all the wealth and goods of the Endara elfhame stored in the basements below, ripe for any who would wish to steal it from the elves.
