Hit: 2d6 + 5 cold, fire, and lightning damage.

How am I supposed to read this? Is this actually 2d6 + 15? Then adjust according to any resistances present?

But if there are no resistances, is this 2d6 +15?

The damage is 5 points, and has three different types - you'd need to have resistance to all three types in order to reduce the damage.

Neither of the above.  It's 2d6 + 5 damage, all of which has three types: cold, fire, and lightning.  A creature must resist all three types in order to reduce any of this damage.

This arms race (increasing the number of damage types, in an effort to get around typed resistances) makes items like the Elemental Ward Cloak that much more powerful.
Thanks guys!
