New Assaultmage Stuff [PEACH]

Hello, folks. I'm a frequent lurker, but I've been brainstorming some stuff for my favorite class for a while now, and I've finally got it to a point where it looks presentable. Now, I've been reading about 4e a lot, but I've only been playing since about April, so I'm not sure how balanced the following material is. I hope you all enjoy!


Feats:


Inevitable Aegis


Prerequisite: Aegis of Ensnarement or Aegis of Assault, Swordbond


Benefit: Your Aegis of Ensnarement or Aegis of Assault immediate reaction can trigger when a target marked by your Swordmage Aegis makes an attack that does not include you, even if that attack misses every target.


 


Offensive Warding


Benefit: You increase the bonus provided by your Swordmage Warding to +2 when wielding a heavy blade with two hands.


 


Greater Aegis of Assault


Prerequisite: 11th Level, Aegis of Assault


Benefit: Attacks granted by your Aegis of Assault gain a bonus to damage rolls equal to your Strength modifier. This effect applies even when using a Swordmage or Swordmage paragon path power in place of your Aegis of Assault.


 


Certainty of Punishment


Prerequisite: 11th Level, Aegis of Assault


Benefit: Attacks granted by your Aegis of Assault deal damage equal to your Strength modifier on a miss. This effect also applies to Swordmage and Swordmage paragon path powers, but not to powers that are reliable.



Assault Formation


Prerequisite: 21st Level, Aegis of Assault, 15 Strength


Benefit: After using your Aegis of Assault, you may teleport back to your original position.




At-Will Powers
:


Blade of Blood


Fluff: Despite the long battle, your sword remains clean of blood. It’s too hungry to waste any.


At-Will * Arcane, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon


Target: One creature


Intelligence vs AC


Hit: 1W + Intelligence modifier damage and you gain temporary hit points equal to your Strength modifier.


Lv21: 2W + Intelligence modifier damage.


 


Bolt Slash


Fluff: Your sword emits bolts of green lightning as it drives your foe back.


At-Will * Arcane, Lightning, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon


Target: One creature


Intelligence vs AC


Hit: 1W + Intelligence modifier lightning damage. You can push the target one square and shift one square into the space the target vacated.


Lv21: 2W + Intelligence modifier force damage.


 


Vengeful Flames


Fluff: The fire that wreaths your blade clings to your foe, flaring brighter and hotter when your foe hurts your allies.


At-Will * Arcane, Fire, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon


Target: One creature


Intelligence vs AC


Hit: 1W + Intelligence modifier fire damage.


            Level 21: 2W + Intelligence modifier fire damage.


Effect: The first time the target makes an attack against one or more of your allies before the start of your next turn, the target takes fire damage equal to your Strength modifier.


 


Flare Blade


Fluff: The fire coating your blade flares briefly, blinding your foe and fouling its attacks.


At-Will * Arcane, Fire, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon


Target: One creature


Intelligence vs AC


Hit: 1W + Intelligence modifier fire damage, and the target takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of your next turn.


Level 21: 2W + Intelligence modifier fire damage.


Special: You can use this power in place of a melee basic attack.

Withering Sigil (Lv1)


Fluff: The sigil you branded your foe with flares up


At-Will * Acid, Arcane, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon

Intelligence vs AC


Hit: 2W + Intelligence modifier acid damage. The target takes a penalty to damage rolls equal to your Strength or Constitution modifier until the end of your next turn.


 


Bladeshards (Lv1)


Fluff: You swing your sword and the blade explodes into shards that drive your foes back.


Encounter * Arcane, Weapon


Standard action * Close blast 3


Target: Each enemy in the blast


Attack: Intelligence vs AC


Hit: 1W + 2 + Intelligence modifier damage, and you push the target 3 squares.


 


Gravity Hammer (Lv17)


Fluff: You back up your slashes with hammers of force, slamming your enemy where you wish.


Encounter * Arcane, Force, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon


Target: One creature


Attack: Intelligence vs Reflex


Hit: 3W + Intelligence modifier, and you either slide the target three squares or knock it prone.


Special: You may use this power in place of a charge.


Aegis of Assault: You may use this power in place of the melee basic attack granted by your Aegis of Assault.


 


Tears of Acid (Level 17)


Fluff: Your sword strike is merely a distraction, as your other hand slams beads of acid into your foe’s eyes.


Encounter * Arcane, Acid, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon


Target: One creature


Attack: Intelligence vs Reflex


Hit: 3W + Intelligence modifier acid damage, and the target is blinded (save ends).


Aegis of Assault: If you miss the target with this attack, the target is blinded until the end of your next turn.


 


Chronal Riposte (Lv 23)


Fluff: You step back a brief moment of time to prevent a strike against your ally.


Encounter * Arcane, Teleportation, Weapon


Immediate Interrupt * Melee weapon


Trigger: A target marked by you makes an attack against one of your allies.


Target: One creature


Aegis of Assault: You can teleport 5 squares before you make the attack.


Attack: Intelligence vs AC


Hit: 3W + Intelligence modifier damage and you slide the target 2 squares. If the target can no longer reach your ally, the attack misses.


 


Carving the Dragon’s Path (Lv27)


Fluff: Your attacks leave behind the kind of devastation scene when dragons arrive.


Encounter * Arcane, Teleportation, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon


Effect: Teleport 5 squares.


Primary Target: One creature


Attack: Intelligence vs AC


Hit: 4W + Intelligence modifier damage and you slide the target 3 squares. Choose from acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage for the damage of this attack


Effect: You can teleport 5 squares, then make the following secondary attack.


            Secondary Target: One creature other than the primary target.


            Secondary Attack: Intelligence vs AC


            Hit: 4W + Intelligence modifier damage and you slide the target 3 squares. Choose from acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage for the damage of this attack


Effect: You can teleport five squares, then make the following tertiary attack.


            Tertiary Target: One creature other than the primary or secondary targets.


Tertiary Attack: Intelligence vs AC


Hit: 4W + Intelligence modifier damage and you slide the target 3 squares. Choose from acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage for the damage of this attack


 


Lava Tomb (Lv27)


Fluff: You summon a wave of lava from the Elemental Chaos, burying your foes alive while avoiding your allies.


Encounter * Arcane, Fire, Implement


Standard action * Close blast 3


Target: Each enemy in the blast


Attack: Intelligence vs Reflex


Hit: 3d8 + Intelligence modifier fire damage, and the target falls prone. In addition, the target is immobilized until the end of your next turn.


Miss: Half damage and the target falls prone.


 


 


Daily Powers:


 


Mist Blade (Level 5)


Fluff: Cold mist surges from your blade, surrounding the target and concealing your allies from it. Thanks to your careful magic, your allies have no trouble seeing through the mist.


Daily * Arcane, Cold, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon


Target: One creature


Attack: Intelligence vs Fortitude


Hit: 2W + Intelligence modifier cold damage. The target ongoing 5 cold damage, and your allies gain total concealment from the target (save ends both).


Aegis of Assault: Deal extra cold damage equal to your Strength modifier on a hit.


Aegis of Ensnarement: You slow the target (save ends).


Miss: Half-damage, ongoing 5 cold damage until the end of your next turn, and your allies gain partial concealment from the target until the end of your next turn.


 


Exploding Ward (Lv15)


Fluff: Your warding explodes outward, sending your foes head over heels before reforming around you.


Standard action * Close burst 2


Target: Each enemy in the burst


Attack: Intelligence vs Reflex


Hit: 2W + Intelligence + Strength modifier force damage and you push the target a number of squares equal to your Strength modifier, you mark the target, and you knock it prone.


Miss: Half damage and you push the target 3 squares and knock it prone.


Aegis of Assault: You mark each target with your Aegis of Assault.


 


Shocking Grasp (Lv19)


Fluff: Your blade conducts lightning into your foe as you grab it in one hand and hurl it away from you.


Daily * Arcane, Lightning, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon


Target: One creature


Attack: Intelligence vs Reflex


Hit: 4W + Intelligence modifier lightning damage and ongoing 10 lightning damage (save ends).


Miss: Half damage and ongoing 5 lightning damage.


Effect: You slide the target a number of squares equal to your Strength modifier and knock it prone. The target cannot stand up until the end of your next turn.


 


Flamebolt Armor (Level 25)


Daily * Arcane, Fire, Lightning, Stance


Minor action * Personal


Effect: Until the end of the encounter, you gain resist 15 fire and lightning, your arcane weapon attacks gain a +2 to attack rolls, gain the fire and lightning keywords, and deal extra fire and lightning damage equal to your Strength modifier. In addition, any enemy that starts its turn in the aura takes 15 fire damage.


 


 


Curse of the Living Explosions (Lv29)


Fluff: Your attack places a curse on your foe that torments it with fiery explosions that have a will of their own.


Daily * Arcane, Fire, Thunder, Weapon


Standard action * Melee weapon


Target: One creature


Attack: Intelligence vs Fortitude


Hit: 5W + Intelligence +Strength modifier fire and thunder damage. The target takes damage equal to your Strength modifier each time it attacks until the start of your next turn.


Miss: Half damage and the target takes damage equal to your Strength modifier each time it hits one of your allies until the start of your next turn.


Aegis of Assault: Until the end of your next turn, each time the target hits one of your allies, you slide the target 2 squares.
