Discworld Campaign Setting

Hi all

I was thinking  that it might be cool if we could build a Discworld campaign setting for a D&D game. My current idea is that the players will start in the Mended Drum, and in the inevitable bar fight will meet the Librarian, who will give them a quest to find a missing book. That will end up with the players meeting the Thieves and Assassins (as well as the criminal element), and getting into the wizards' good books. If one of the players is a wizard, there could be a "Joining the University" quest at some point, and for rogues you could have the Thieves or Assassins. From this starting point, the players can explore Ankh-Morpork and the surrounding area, delving into dungeons and killing monsters and so on.

How does this sound?
