Rumbling Baloth
Creature - Beast (C)
In the dim light beneath the vast trees of Deepglade, baloths prowl in search of prey. Their guttural calls are more felt than heard, but their attack scream carries for miles.
4/4

You don't have to be in this years hall of fame ballot to know that this is a very solid common.

Nice art. And definitely a solid common, agree.

Very good in limited, very cool art, too.

Art is awesome!
a lot of light constast

In a way, this card has always existed conceptually. Now it is actually printed. I feel like this deserves a spot in a Pauper deck. Anyway, welcome to Magic, Rumbling Baloth.

Funny how the commons are starting to look better than most of the other rarities.

oh no

all the broken cards are rare
Solid with good art and flavor.
Common curve. Increase the (green) color weight by 1 whenever you get up to an even number.

Metallic Sliver
Grizzly Bears
Nessian Courser
Rumbling Baloth
Hollowhenge Beast
Kindercatch

Next: A common 7/7 for 4ggg
Nessian Courser = Grizzly Bears being ridden by a Metallic Sliver
Rumbling Baloth = 2x Grizzly Bears, stacked
Hollowhenge Beast = 2x Grizzly Bears + Metallic Sliver
Kindercatch = 3x Grizzly Bears

Vorstclaw = ??

EDIT: nevermind it's an uncommon

Vorstclaw is uncommon. So is Memnite. There's also an uncommon 3/3 for in M14. I wonder if we'll get any other uncommons where p/t = cmc + 1.
Interesting analysis on the common / uncommon curve.  We've come a long way since Erithizon.

other gaps in the curve:

gives you a 1/2 norwood ranger

gives you a 2/3 elvish warrior

gives you a 4/3 nettle swine or a 3/4 southern elephant

gives you a 5/4 spined wurm or a blanchwood treefolk

gives you a 5/6 vastwood gorger

 gives you a 6/7 axebane stag
:G::G::G: gives a 4/5 [C]Leatherback Baloth[/C]

Once again, uncommon.
I love the art as well!  I might use it just for that reason.
It's a shame no one caught my sick pun in the OP

awesome for a common! [C]Deadbridge Goliath[/C] is better but it's a rare and no Beast
That's some amazing art. Baloths are always a welcome sight for me!
