"Another sub-par build with a funny name"?

Seriously, this is what- the 3rd? 4th? Sub-par build you've posted recently, 2 of which were basically the same concept...why?

To be fair, 1/2 the stuff I've posted lately isn't mine. The only build I have any hand in is the half-elf valorous bard that I'm helping my friend make and only because I actually like the concept.

So I don't know about all the prime op deals. I just take a particular thought and see if I can make it into anything decent.

Though with the first two, it makes me wonder why Iron Defender shows up as Blue in the battlemind handbook if its really so useless. I give up my standard and all damage I take for the turn is reduced to about 20%. How is that really bad? I was looking for ways to remain sticky while keeing Iron Defnder active. There is no knight handbook. I am simply looking at the EK and wondering if, and how I can make it work. Race choice for this practically begs half elf. That or you can go MC into swordmage for Intelligent blademaster, leaving you with Int as your prime score. Nothing a knight does specificly needs Str besides your MBA

I don't often make a straightforward Op build. Anyone can do that. I toss in some variables instead and like to see if I can make it work is the real question.

I belive lordduskblade would beg to differ.

Blue stuff is often treated as useless here, because you could be taking sky blue or gold instead. CharOp standards are quite a bit higher than what you'd see in a typical game.

It's clear you're working on a defender. In the future it would be more appropriate to just make a thread about a defender you want to play and then introduce all the builds you come up with in that thread.
From the Knight Handbook here is an Eldritch Knight build, so here is your build relatively optimized
